ebook for halloween

I'm thinking I want to do a free ebook for halloween to put on my site. Not a halloween october 30th theme [prefer if not mentioned at all], but vampires, shape-shifters and other things that go bump in the night. a mixture of stories in different genres like horror, romance, mystery etc. Possibly about 7-9 stories around 3000-5000 words each. There would be no money in it, just a very small claim to publishing fame.

Is anyone interested? Does anyone have any stories already written? I'm not looking for exclusive stories either. I'm just tossing around the thought in my head to do one for special occassions, like xmas, valetines day and halloween.

I have a free designed lined up [pity them] and I have the ebook software. All I need are participants!

when I said free designer, I meant for the cover. If anyone wants to do some erotic artwork to put it the ebook, they should feel entirely free and encouraged to do so

Edited: I just had a quick scout and saw some possible stock photos for a cover. I can't find any decent bloke ones, and some of them make be a bit chick litty.

My one concern is whether I'll be able to submit somewhere else. The characters in it have been used in several other stories of mine, plus one in the works. I want to put together an anthology of these stories and peddle it somewhere.

A couple years ago this one was going to be a Halloween contest entry, but I was too slow in submitting it so I edited out every mention of Halloween so it should fit your requirement.

Rob, it may be a problem if you submit it elsewhere, and they want your stories to be exclusive. Let me know what you think, and in the mean time I'll start reading!

I have a couple: Possession (it took third in the Halloween contest year before last, but no mention of Halloween in it), and Hush, Hush Sweet Carly (written for the contest last year, but again, no mention of Halloween).

Possession is in the second edition of Coming Together (I think), if that's a deterrent.
