I was always of the opinion that if you must eat rabbit food, then you need to boil the hell out of it first, to get rid of the taste--then load it up with melted Velveeta or a nice thick butter and cream sauce.

There's this place on the promenade in Santa Monica called Benitas that sells nothing but fries (uber-crispy shoestring ones) and a huge selection of gourmet dipping sauces. My favorites are the purple basil mayo and the ancho chile mayo. Absolutely delicious.
