Eating It

I am a huge fan of gravy, brown or white. Lucky can attest to this, since she and I have shared many meals together. I will pour it, okay drown it, on practically anything, and growing up a common question that the family asked me during dinner was,

"Oh, Rae, would you like some mashed potatoes with that gravy?"

My smoothie combinations are famous through Europe and certain parts of Africa

Favorite evil snack - hot. freshly popped popcorn, mixed with melted pieces of Cadbury's chocolate :cathappy:

It's indulgent enough to be considered extremely evil by my standards.

The Norwegians are fun to point fingers at. But they can't be blamed for curry.

Salty licorice anyone?

I like cheese and jam sandwiches.. or fried cheese sandwiches.. (where you put the cheese directly on the grill until it goes past melty to crispy. Then serve on wheat bread with mayo) im sure ther is something else..

My basil, black pepper and vanilla icecream pie seems to surprise people, until they try it.

Does anyone else do the cole slaw on chili dogs thing, or is that a regional perversion?

coleslaw on barbeque sandwiches, too.

So, in the true Tuomas tradition, I'm not going to add a twist and list "normal" things that I eat that freak my friends out:

-Root beer. (eat?)
-Peanutbutter and strawberry jam sandwich: they say it looks "gross".
-Baked bean sandwich.
-Grits...
-Refried beans.
-Tacos.
-Dr. Pepper.
-Blueberries, and anything thererelated: pancakes, muffins, pie.
-Eggplant.

If I dig around in my pantry for a bit, I might recall a few more, but I'm feeling lazy... :p

Peanut butter bread dipped in oatmeal.
Grilled penutbutter and jelly sandwiches.
Penut butter and cheese (cut a chunk of cheddar off the block and dunk it in peanut butter)
Venison, which I MUST cook myself, because no one else does it right.
Miracle whip, Banana and Peanut BUtter sandwiches
Liver and onions with mashed potatoes, gravy, and brussel sprouts.
My own recipe for black bread, toasted and smothered with butter, for breakfast. Usually with a fried egg (until I quit being able to eat them  ) and a dollop of raspberry jam on top.
