I posted the first three chapters of my lastest book "Inbred - A Family Legacy" and since it's not the entire story, some readers where up happy with it, to say the least.

How much a novel would you give a reader to peek his/her interest without handing them the entire thing?

Tit for tat ... read my monster, then I am happy to read yours. :rose:

One chapter at a time ;)

You mean "The Screening"? Sure.

I don't think that I can say more than what's already been said in the public comments.

I am re-submitting my story. It's not even the correct version sent to the publisher anyways.

I've kind of been wondering this myself. My Teacher's Pet series is coming out as a novel (self-published) here in a little bit... I had thought that the 7th chapter would be the last one to go up on Lit before the book comes out, but now I'm so exicted about the 8th chapter... But then I don't want to give everything away... but ... but ...

aaaauuuggghh!

Better ;)

I can only read one a week, and I promised another for next week, and when I read? I give major feed back ;) which may or may not be good. :D I am, maybe too picky for you.

It wouldn't hurt. Regardless of the errors, my books sell well, just like the positive comments of stories that I have submitted here far outway the bad. I look for valid points in comments, both good and bad. I'm just trying to get better at this.

For instance, my writting style is so different from styles that some members comment as great. I don't over play the obvious, but still try to paint a vivid picture for the reader. Some stories bore the living fuck out of me, and for some readers, mine give them headaches (stop masturbating while reading).

I like your story because I like girl/girl stuff.

I read the first posted part of your novel, and I must say that it's pretty good. Despite a few typos that I don't care about (but some might), it is well written, good characterization, and so on. But it was a little confusing, because I get the feeling it is written as a consistent novel, and therefore the installment ended a bit abruptly. No real cliffhanger to the rest of it.

That being said, my personal opinion is that posting a few chaprters of a novel sold elsewhere is a bit against the idea of Literotica. This is supposed to be a site wth free erotic stories. To post a teaser sample of a commersial product feels like sneak advertising to me.
