EARTH DAY! Post a nature pic from near where you live

After a long and tedious struggle reminding my scanner that it's supposed to be able to handle 35mm transparencies (remember them?) I finally managed a pic. It was taken at the Roman Wall, about twenty-five miles from where I live. I used the area as the setting for my entry for the 'Talisman' chain back in 2002. Still one of my favourites of my own efforts ('Talisman Ch. 4 Lucy McFee' if anyone is interested. Link to my work in my sig (and there are two new recent efforts)).

The wall runs along the top of the crag at the right, and can be seen running up the hillside in the distance, following the line of the escarpment. The photo was taken looking East.

That's amazing. It looks like a movie set. I can see why you'd set a story there.
