Earth 3: OOC

Morning all, just me up way early getting ready for that vile thing called work.

Batlle of Metropolis

130,000 confirmed dead

250,000 missing

1 Million injured

$750 Billion in physical Damage

over all impact $2 Trillion

The Bart reference to what Vic posted. Am I missing something here? Is the Metropolis thing from a game or book? If so, I missed it.....

These statistics are apparently from the climax to the "Man of Steel" movie.

In this version of things, it also causes Jessi's twin (Barry? Bart?) to vanish without a trace in the same "flash" that gave her her "speed formula."

Gotcha:).....

Let's kick this pig. Heh! Loved that movie.

Best parts for me was: Lauren Holly in a too small uniform (funny as hell), the FART during grounded manuevres and of course "Let's kick this pig"

It just occured to me, I have written with Vaeshanka before. Starship Troopers: Marauder spin-off...strangely some people didn't appreciate the many battles... -shrug- oh well will just stick to watching the movies I guess.

Yes they are. The statistics are actually from what someone made based on the amount of damage shown on screen. and they've been using it as a complaint on what Snyder did in MOS. I've been rewatching the movie, and Metropolis is pretty much set up like downtown Chicago. from what i saw in the movie maybe 3 mile radius from the blast site. with most of that rubble getting sucked up into the zone. I actually think that maybe those statistics are exagerated by half at the least. The interesting thing is that the same person that did this said that battle of New York for Avengers only had $160 million in property damage.

Well if you've seen Man of Steel, then you know the type of realism that I'm looking. As you can see by some of the choices I'm not above redoing some of the characters (ie our female version of The Flash).
