I’m finishing up a story where the essential erotic angle is that family members all living in the same house can hear each other fucking. Obviously this could have been the spur to an incest situation but I didn’t want to take it in that direction. They don’t actually want to have incestual sex. However all the auditory stimulation does encourage them alone and with their non-related partners in a way that’s very much along the lines of E/V, except with very limited visual stimulation.

I’m seriously tempted to submit the story in E/V, but concerned it might get punished there. Do you think it could fly there, or would it be better off in the Erotic Couplings catch-all?

I posted a story about listening to E/V (no incest aspect to it -- The Aureur was entered for the virtual conference event). I is my lowest rated E/V story I have written, but only by a tad, but it also has the most comments, the third most favorites and an average number of views of my E/V stories, which is my most common category (Hence my username).

It is also one of my favorite stories I have written.

I'm not sure about the V part, but happily having sex when you know others are listening seems pretty E to me.

Questions I'd have is whether the individual members are seeking to listen to the sex? And if the ones having sex are making it a point to exhibit for the others?

If so, I'd put it in E/V.

If anything, have you considered an author's note warning that the story involves no incest?

They aren’t seeking to listen or exhibit, until the end when they finally succumb to it, and they are. It’s pretty clear to me now that E/V is likely the best place for this one.

I will consider an author’s note, although I’ve come to regret the few times I’ve used one before. Thank you!
