How about a LW version where hubby gives her permission to satisfy her curiosity?

(Geeks deserve love too.)

I'm a bit confused... Is there a stereotype I'm missing out on? Are little people more likely to be geeks? Or is this a bit of Tolkienesque roleplaying I'm just not catching?

Reminds me of a joke: What's red and has seven dents in it?

A: Snow White's cherry.

Before being used to describe socially-maladjusted fellows with high brainpower, low muscle-mass, and a fondness for science fiction, the term "geek" was used to refer to the fellows who populated circus sideshows.

Of course, IIRC, it specifically referred to those who were in said sideshows due to some form of talent, sword-swallowers and such, as opposed to those who were there due to some form of physical malformation.

per wikipedia, there is no longer a single accepted definition. Historically, it referred to side show freaks, but now can be used synonymous with "nerd" or as a reference to any odd non-mainstream person, esp an enthusiast for an activity...

as a person with a disability, I am allowed to adopt the term self-referentially. I mean no disrespect to dwarves.
