Just thought I would drop in and find out more than I know about BDSM. I never really got into much of it, I know she likes it but I just want some ideas of what to do. I don't really have a lot of thoughts about BDSM. DW got me into reading stories and they work for some things. Please help. BTW DW is pink69whore.

Just because I like to help people out and I have been there. Communication helps, figuring out what you want and what she wants and trying to make that all fit together. For instance if she wants you to take control then you have to .. well lets see Charge head long into eternal damnation just because you think you can win. If she wants you to be submissive you gotta figure out if you can surrender. Think on fantasies you have had .. dreams um... when my dom side was being brought out I was drinking .. rum .. The Captain's to be precise. I think that helped. I know more about that side. I watch listen and learn and then act.. without hesistation and without the censure .. I go forward until it cross a line and then we discuss. But fortune favors the bold. Hmm if you need anything else just pm. Communication and acting on desires is key

Have y'all tried filling out some BDSM interest check lists? I really think that can be fun and helpful.
You can google for these. They're often written for M/F couples but shouldn't take too much modification. Ask whatever you like but until we know what type of thing you're getting into and what role you intend to play, it's hard to get specific.
I like being in control but I also like it when DW tries to take control and when sheis in control. I am thinkin of gettin some underbed restraints wich will be for both of us. We have toys and they help but i guess i just need to know more about it.

I got some clothes line at the local dollar store, cut lengths and put those between the bed and box springs to make my own underbed restraints. I'm cheap like that. I like working with that diameter rope but I hear the thicker the rope the better.
Yeah that is a good idea but i think the good ones from spencers will be better for us. You should check online to see if you can get better, or the same ones, for less. I suspect you can.
Like Fury, we just tied lengths of rope to the legs of the bed frame. Actually, we used robe ties and scarves for a long time before that, even. That was handy because we could just kick them under the bed when we were done. Now we have rope and nice leather cuffs we picked up at a kinky rummage sale tied to the posts at the head of the bed, so they slip behind the headboard, out of sight, when not in use.
Anyway, before purchasing, you might want to experiment with homemade stuff to see what set-up actually works best for you.
As for ideas, I'll back up the suggestions of looking through the library, going through BDSM checklists together and talking about needs, wants, fantasies, likes, dislikes and limits A LOT.
