Dull thread

Well it's cold and dull, and not really very pleasant at all, oh and the garbage blokes didn't turn up today, the bloody bins are still out with cat's going through them, crashing and banging about..... SHUT THE FUCK UP OUT THERE!!!!..... little sods, oh and I've got to get a new tyre for the car, and the bloody kitchen tap's dripping again, I only changed that washer about three months ago, bloody Chinese shit, why can't we make stuff over here anymore, damn Tony Blair and his mob of war mongering tossers, can't look after UK industry, but buys bombs off foreigners to drop on other foreigners, I'm going to bed sod this.

That was such a fine rant of discontent I just had to see it again.

In this part of the world, the weather never did get nice; this morning before the sun came up I saw a sliver of old moon out the bedroom window, but by the time I woke up it was overcast. It never did get above 55; then it got down to 50 and now it's 48.

I haven't been out of the house all day, even to get the paper off the foot of the driveway. I had great plans for cleaning house, but have actually only run a gallon of vinegar through the dishwasher in an effort to clear some of the hard water deposits out of its works so it will operate more efficiently, scrubbed out the sink, started stocking one of the new bookcases I bought last weekend, and built a fire in the fireplace. The logs I am using are made out of pressed sawdust and are packaged under the name of Wise Wood. A box of these are about half what you'd pay for the Wal-Mart brand of artificial firelogs, and are more environmentally friendly, but twice as much trouble to work with, involving the wadding of much newspaper and, in my case, pages from the operation manual of a computer my daughter once had but which no longer exists. As soon as I turned my back on it, it went back to a smoulder. My husband, who'd come home and fallen asleep on the couch, got up, and I told him it was his turn to dick around with it. He shifted some of the logs and now it seems to be burning.

I think I'll go upstairs and put on some slipper socks.

Agree - but my friends - tits are not so boring - especially lucky's one and her twin sister . . . ho hum, janet J's - AGAIN.

Should I polish stainless steel?

Only to be dull...isn't it supposed to stay shiny by nature?

Could always check the dog for split ends...

Ten, I think, for a dog. Unless it's eight. That's how many cats have. Don't know about rabbits.
