Duh Blue Wave..............

What I find interesting is the disconnect between the 'generic' poll that many outlets are publishing and the polls concerning specific races. The 'generic' poll shows the democrats with a decided advantage but the specific polls don't reflect that. This starts to call into question the methodology and/or value of the 'generic' polls themselves.

A lot of these polls use methodology that over weight democrats v Republicans, and lump non voters in with likely voters.

An interesting trend seems to be happening.

Last week the D's were +7.8 during the Kavanaugh hearings. The D's were fired up, or so they say.

Yesterday Rassmussen released the results of their latest poll. Dead heat. 47% D, 47% R, 3% "other candidate".

BUT, the big news is from Realclearpolitics. Just a couple of days ago the D's were at +7.8 on the generic ballot with everyone forecasting them to go up to +8 or more. Today they're at +6.9.
