June 8 (UPI) -- Authorities arrested an armed man early on Wednesday near the Maryland home of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, amid heightened concern for members of the court over an impending decision on abortion.​

Eh. maybe. I think carrying a pistol to someone's house can be inferred to be a sign of bad intent — though just like when we were talking about security for justices a few weeks ago, I'd point out that an awful lot of people have defended the idea that pacing around outside the home of a political opponent while armed is not only no big deal, but protected speech.

Anyway, I am glad no one was hurt, and I hope that Kavanaugh takes this opportunity to reduce the number of doors on the exterior of his home to just one.
