Hiya everyone,

I'm looking for some instructions/pictures on tying up/restraining with duct tape.

Does anyone know of some good resources for this?

Thanks in advance. :p

I'm thinking you meant BDSM as your name.

And check out the BDSM forum. Try the 'Library' thread.

duck tape? You know, I think they actually make a special kind of "tape" for bondage... It sticks to itself and other things well, but it doesn't kill anything when you take it off, either ;).

It's called Bondage Tape and you can get it on most adult sites that sell BDSM gear, such as Stockroom or Xandria. I think even Libida sells it.

Do NOT use duct tape. It can cause more pain than I'm sure you're willing to endure (or your partner).

you know, you don't even have to go the tape route. In the past, we've used anywhere from regular old ropes to extension cords and computer plug-in cords ;). Just be resourceful!

Oh, you might find some info. on how to tie certain knots and stuff on www.bondage.com -- and you can always post there, too.

Old ties (those skinny ones from the '80's work well (and you KNOW you're not going Don Johnson anymore).

I was gonna say that I prefer gaffers tape to duct tape for just about everything. But taping up a person? Ehhh...maybe if it's over clothes or something otherwise it's gonna hurt like a motherfucker when it's pulled off.

You want to know what it feels like...just stick some of it around your wrist, leave it a few minutes, then pull it off. The damn stuff will take your SKIN with it. Seriously.

Do not go the duct tape route. Please. *shudder*

First Aid Tape is an alternative to the expensive bondage tape. It sticks to itself and not to skin and can be picked up at any grocery store, drug store, or WalMart type store.

Duct tape is also called 200mph tape because it's used by Nascar teams to make repairs in the pits. If it won't come off a car at 200mph, think about the force necessary to take it off a body part.

OUCH that is all I can say...I would kill my SO first befroe I let him put duct tape on me..Know way!!!

WOW!!I should do a spell check before I post things..

**Before**

**NO**Instead of know!!!:p

DONT USE DUCT TAPE, go to the electrical department of Ace or what ever you guys have where ever you are and get the coloured tape, it isnt sticky it is tension tape, sticks when its pulled tight (tight enough to seal but not stop blood flow). It can actually match her outfits! lol Green, blue, yellow, white and red.
Good luck,
If you have used duct tape get a cloth soaked in baby oil and massage the tape off, works better then ripping it off.

Be careful hun, a lot of cords can cause damage.

Duct tape is too painful and messy. Many of the suggestions here have been good ones. Another fun thing is the self-adhesive ace bandages.

Be wary of silk scarves and the like as they easily become far too restrictive.

Ropes and restriction require some thought, education, and care. Nerves and vessels can easily be permanently damaged.

Duct tape! just cut out the appropriate holes...
Just a humerous pic, not meant in seriousness..:p

duct tape...OUCH!!!

no way would i subject anyone to duct tape but what i'm thiniking of trying is the paper first aid tape. I have used it on wounds and it holds well but comes off without taking any skin with it like the regular first aid tape wants to. I'll report back when i have some results. but then again rope works well and looks good too:D

Believe it or not, the very first brand of 'duct tape' was actually called "duck tape". It was designed for waterproofing, circa WWII if-i-recall-correctly.

According to CBC radio. ("an' dem's the gubberment!")

We do not have your decadent capitalist 'Ace' in glorious Soviet Cannukistan. ;)

Are you talking about some sort of electrical tape? The kind that's about 3/4" thick?

Ideally, I would be interested in knowing if there's an inexpensive alternative that has the same width and strength as duct tape; so far my plan, insofar as I've thought about duct tape, would have been to pre-wrap the areas under the tape in mesh gauze. (Please feel free to speak up to prevent any painful self-testing... please.)

Ah, I forgot about my account here.

We intend to use it over the clothes, to create a very tight "full body harness".

I've yet to find anything inexpensive enough to substitute.

Thanks anyway.
