...but I'll bet you didn't hear about it from ABC News.
Two months ago, there was an ABC News/Washington Post poll that showed George W. Bush's job approval level had fallen eight points to 55 percent. On World News Tonight, reporter Terry Moran said, "the more people learn about this president, his policies, our poll suggests, the less they're likely to support him."
Last week, though, the same survey showed Dubya's approval rating had jumped four points, to 59 percent. But did World News Tonight or Good Morning America say anything about Dubya's rebounding ratings? Nope.
The Media Research Center says both ABC News programs ignored last week's poll. They also ignored increased approval of Bush's environmental and energy policies. They did, however, report the poll's findings that 63 percent of Americans support embryonic stem-cell research.
ABC isn't the first network to ignore its own polls. CBS News did it a few months ago when it spiked a poll that showed 67 percent of Americans supported Bush's tax cut plan. In March, ABC News found that 58 percent thought Bush's tax cut is "about right" or "too small." They didn't report that, either.
In the world of leftist-dominated media, there can be no good news about a Republican administration.
