Whats the strongest alcohol you can drink straight?

It would have to be Tequilla or Jagermiester (sp?), whatever it is it tastes like Nyquil. That was in my younger days. I prefer my beer, Corona or Tequiza, but I have started drinking the Smirnoff Ice also. Have to be partying pretty hard to drink shots, it has been a long time.

I like to drink, I like it alot, but I don't go much harder than drining tequila or sudden discomfort straight up.

Drink straight?... can't think straight, been drinking...

I'd be a lousy alcoholic, I get sick way too quickly so the odd glass of whiskey will have to suffice. Don't even think that my beer should be more than 5-6% (by vol - some people think beer in Canada is stronger than beer in the states but that's just people who don't know how to do math).

Doesn't anyone drink for the sheer pleasure of taste? I always say if the second pint isn't as satisfying as the first - stop!

Wine is my choice. Good wine. Dare I say California wines? Ok, the French make a decent bottle too.

Hard stuff? Sometimes when I'm out. I wimp out though. I'll take a Cosmopolitan or a 7 & 7 over a straight shot anyday.

The strongest stuff I can take straight is 180 proof grain alcohol.

I don't remeber seeing anything stronger.

The strongest I can actually enjoy is 80 proof cognac or Absolut Citron.

Youkon Jack 100 proof is fine, but it's more like syrup.


I'm a social drinker, I'll have what the rest do.

Ok, I did like the tequila I had once deep in the heart of Baja. A bus of students from the local university gave me some - it was poured from a gallon milk carton if you can believe it - but that stuff was the smoothest I've had.

Still, it's nasty if you ask me though. Ack!

If they can make it, then I'm pretty sure I've had enough practice to be able to drink it.
