More than once. I've often thought of going back to Montana and just living in the mountains where I once did. Far from people, no phone, no electricity, no running water.

That's when I was happiest. :)

I do know....

That was the life. :) Fishing was great and so were the walks in the early evening. The sky was so clear you could count the shooting stars and they were our nightlights. Nothing like having to visit the outhouse at 3 in the morning either. The coyotes made themselves known, as well as the other wildlife. The creek outside the cabin lulled you to sleep.
Yep, I miss it.

Yes!.. very much so. I've specifically had a draw of it the last two years.

This February and March I'm actually acting on it. My lease is coming up, I don't have a steady job where I'm needed, though I've had temp jobs that pay enough that I've been able to save the money.

I have my family here, and I have a couple of dear friends... but I have finally decided to go. Pretty sure where I'm going, and being as its over 3000 miles away, it's not necessarily a completely new culture, but it will definitely be different.

I'm thrilled, a bit scared, and very excited about finally getting a chance to follow what I've been craving to do for years.

Yes, often.

Then I realize that I'd still be me and would change of location and culture really change things.

One of my favorite songs is "Distant Land" by Traci Lords.

I want float away
Sail acround the world
Find a place with sacred towers
I ask the sky, I ask the sky....

It's really cool. Trance, I think. Of course, I never did figure out electronica genres.

Far, far too often. In the last few years it's become almost an obsession! Ireland, baby!:D Or if not that far, S.C. at least, where I have family.

Me too. Back to New York, maybe. My fantasy move is to Ireland, but that's so unrealistic. And I may have missed my "window of opportunity" (in finding a job that is--the "Celtic Tiger" isn't exactly roaring anymore than the American economy just now).

Good morning, foxeen. Wanna run away with me?
