Wu Fan

As Wu Fan flew towards nothingness he realized that he was wrong to leave his new friends behind. He stopped and turned towards the lookout and flew back.

Lateral

"Yea, but nothing can replace living cells."

His right eye was now operational, and he had regained control over his arm. He stood up, and ran a diagnostic scan. "Hey, its actually running better than before! Thanks a lot!"

He wandered outside, and looked at the woman who'd taken him there. "Hey, thanks. Now, Umm, where's a good restaurant?"

He powered up, testing himself, and finding his power level at 7,400. He looked at her, and powered down. "I need to get some serious training in. Am I the weakest fighter on the entire planet or somethin'?"

 

[Cryo]

"Actually I am." she said, giving him a myschief eye. "But I know a few techniques that more than make up for it"

"Like what?" lateral asked, with interest.

"Well, for one" Lesankia powered up, white energy flames surrounding her, her power skyrocketing to about 3500. THan she screamed, and clenched her muscles. The white energy flames wavered, seemly disrupted by anther force. When her scream reached a climate, there was an explosion! the dust cleared revealing Lesankia. But gone was the white energy flames. Now she was surrounded by a black aura gradienting away from her body. Her hair was jet black, and did not reflect any light, the same with her eyes. Anyone that looked at her could not read a power level. And indeed, they felt like they were actually loosing power trying to sense her's.

"Wow. you used that during the fight!"

"Yep" she said. "This is called counter energy. I become an effective black hole of power. If I touch someone powered up, this ability cansles out both our power. Which of course means that I have the advantage, seing as I can fly without it, and these claws of mine cut stone" she inspected her claws, the only part of her that seemed to reflect light.

"Wow" he said, backing up.

"Oh, don't worry. your a cyborg, so your power isn't entirely natural. My ability only cansled out natural energy, so you are immune" She dropped the attack, and powered down. "Would you like me to teach it to you?"

Lateral

"Yea, sure, If you'll teach me." He grinned. "It's always good to learn new techniques. And, that'll go well with an attack I know."

He looked her up and down, and sat back, curling his tail around his middle. "Of course, I'd prefer to have lunch first. I'm sure a lovely lady such as yourself would know all the best restaurants in town. Now, can we get something to eat or will I star-"

He was cut off my a loud rumble that reverberated from his stomach. "Eck. I'm starved. I've had a rough day. When's lunch?"

Dekar

Dekar walked into the cave and pressed the secret button he had been shown. As he entered the labs, Dr Verian shuffled over to him.
"Ah, Wolf, I have been hearing good things about your training." the old man said.
"Spare your compliments old man. Why did you call me?" Dekar said, looking annoyed.
"Yes, yes. I have called you here because I need to tell you something. Do you know about the Dragonballs?" the doctor said, passing a small gadget over to Dekar.
"Of course." Dekar answered, taking the gadget. He looked at it; it was small and circular, with a green grid-type monitor.
"This," the doctor said, pressing a button on the gadget, "will show you where any nearby Dragonballs are."
"Great. So you want me to get the Dragonballs?" Dekar replied.
"Yes. Dragon and Eagle are already searching." Verian said.
"Ok, I'll get right to it." Dekar said, before turning and leaving the lab.
When he got outside, he immediately took to the air. He looked down at the gadget in his hand, but saw nothing, so he flew away in search of them.

 

[Cryo]

They were sittong over a table overflowing with empty dishes, chatting away idly. Cyborg and Succumbus. talking about their pasts and abilities. Lateral was talking about a runin with a pteradactil when he picked up a round, nondescreipt stone and began unconciously tossing it around.

Suddenly, Lesankia's eyes opened wide, as she stopped in mid sentence. "What?" asked lateral, following her gaze.

The stone he was holding had turned into a dragonball!!!

"Has it allready been a year?" she asked in wonderment. "HEY, this means that I have another chance to make my wish!"

Lateral almost droped the stone in amazement. The amber jewl almost glowed with it's own inner light, outlining the 4 symetrically placed red stars. "So, what would you wish for?" he asked.

"I wish I had more seyin blood in me. I do have some, but it's too diluded to make me special." she said, never taking her gaze off of the ball. "Well, I know what I'm doing for the next few weeks" and she flaped her wings to take off.

"Hey" said lateral. "Don't think about going without me!" and he flew up to follow.

down below a waiter fumed at the bastards who left without paying.

Lateral

He moved after her, keeping a firm grip on the dragonball. "That's nice, but I have a few questions. First, how can this thing grant a wish? Second, What is it? And third, Umm,...where are we going?"

He was tagging along, merely because he had no where else to go. New to the planet, he had no clue as to what the woman was going on about.

"You mean, you don't know?"

"Of course I don't know! I just got to this planet, how can I know anything!" Lateral was almost yelling. He breathed a few times, calming himself down.

"Well, why'd you come to this planet, if not for the dragonballs?"

Lateral blinked. "Dragon-whatsis? I came here to find more of my kind. And to train, of course. Now, please, could someone explain what's going on?"

 

[Cryo]

They landed at capsul co. again.

"Hey Bulma" Lesankia shouted, running inside. "I need the dragonball scanner!" Bulma, now too old to go running around the world, dug out the green scanner from her youth, innately understanding why.

Lesankia took the device and used it as she was instructed many years ago. She clicked it, and a blip appeared in the dead center. Another click revieled the same thing, and a third showed a glow in the top right corner. "Hmm.... if I'm right, the closest dragonball is pretty far away that way" she pointed to the distance.

"That's all good and dandy, but you still havn't answered my question.

"Oh, how silly of me. I'm sorry. Let's see. um... as far as I know it, there are 7 dragonballs. Little amber balls like that one, each with a different number of stars in it. The dragonballs are linked to the guardian of the planet, and when brought together, summon a great dragon from the next world who can grant any wish. If the guardien of the planet dies, then the dragonballs dissapear, but as you can see, there's nothing dissapearing about this one"

She hoped that that about covered it. Considering that was all she knew herself. Any other questions she was sure she could bullshit an answer later.

"O-ok, let me get this strait. By gathering all 7 of these jewls, you can summon a great dragon that grants any wish? And this little thing here I guess finds those jewls."

"Yep"

"Uh... somehow I don't believe that. But OK, I'll go along with you. at the very least, it should proove to be interesting."

Lateral

He was quite interested in this. Something new. Something to learn. "Alright then, let's be off."

They took off again, and he took this time to ask a few more questions. "So, you want to gather up these dragonball thingies and get them grant you're wish, right?"

"Yes."

"Well," he replied, "I'm very interested in figuring out how you're going to get the one I have from me, even if you do get the other six. I mean, surely someone else must be after them too."

She grinned at him. "Don't you worry about that."

"Too late, and that comment wasn't much help, either." He grinned, and broke out laughing. "Oh well, I couldn't think of anything to wish for anyway. Except some of those bean things, what was that, by the way?"

"Oh, the sensu bean? They help replenish your power. We can talk more about that later, c'mon!"

He shrugged, and followed along, but his mind was a buzz with thought. Wishes? Dragons? Winged women who'd wish to change their genetic code? THis planet was definitely strange. He was begining to like it.

OOC: Just a question, who are we using as the Earth's guardian? I wanna get two wishes, not one! ::whines::

Dekar

OOC: I don't mind whether it's one wish or two.

IC: Dekar suddenly felt a power in the near distance. It was moving along at a decent speed, adn as he concentrated he could feel that it was actually 2 powers. One he identified as that winged freak, and the other was unknown to him. The other was pretty powerful, but still not as strong as him. As he looked at his dragonball scanner, he realised that there was a dragonball at the same place as them. He soon noticed that the dragonball was moving. That must mean that they had it! With a grunt, he tucked away the other dragonball he had found earlier, the 6 star, into his pocket. With a smirk, he took off, heading straight for Lesankia and her buddy.

Lateral

He stopped, and looked at Lesankia. "You feel that? That power, coming close?"

He turned to face it, his eye telescoping out as readouts filled half his vision. "It powerful, more powerful than I am. Although, not surprising on this planet. Should I be, like, on alert or something?"

 

[Dark Warrior]

Dekar knew he was coming close now, and he sped up a little. Looking down at the dragonball scanner he confirmed the distance, and with just a few more bursts of speed he was on them. He stopped and hovered in the air in front of them. With a grin, he looked up and saw Lesankia, a shocked look on her face.
"Didn't expect to see me, did you?" Dekar said with a laugh. After a moment his face became serious. "Now. Hand over your dragonball before anyone gets hurt." he said, with a glance over at her companion.
"Hmmm.... he's strong..." Dekar thought. "But not as strong as me..."

Lateral

He thought she had the dragonball, and he wanted it. He shifted his hand, and his tail curled around the dragonball, hiding it behind his back. He moved in front of Lesankia, using his tail to move the dragonball towards her.

"I happen to have the dragonball, punk. And I don't like how rude you've been to the lady, here. Now back off before I get angry. You wouldn't like me when I get angry. I tend to break things, and people too."

His eye moved back into his head, and he glowered at the man. "Now shove off!"

 

[Dark Warrior]

Dekar stared coldly at the man who stood in front of his prey.
"Fine. You asked for it." Dekar said slowly as he crouched down and began to power up. His power began to skyrocket, 7000, 8000, 9000, and finally tipping 10,000.
Dekar laughed at the shocked expression on his opponent's face. "As you can see, I am not just a normal human, like you thought. If you fight me," Dekar's eyes narrowed, "you will die."
Then, with a sudden burst of speed Dekar appeared just inches from Lateral's face. "I am getting impatient. This is your last chance. Give me the dragonball or I'll waste both of you." Dekar said, getting angry. He raised one hand until it was facing Lateral.

 

[Cryo]

Lesankia grabbed the dragonball with her tail and hid it in a fold of her wing. She looked at her scanner, where a second blip had appeared right next to her.

"Look, I don't want any trouble. just give the the dragonball so I won't have to hurt you!" said dekar. Lateral was getting angry.

"Hey, maybe I should just take your dragonball. I don't take threats too lightly you know!" said lateral.

"Listen you. I am much stronger than you, so when I say give me something, you give!"

"Hey, what am I, chopped liver?" asked lesankia in her classic seductive voice.

"Your not even worth sensing." Deker said, angering her. She powered up to her max, 4800, which made deker only laugh.

 

[Dark Warrior]

"Ok, it seems you weaklings need to learn a lesson. Who's going first, or do you wanna give me some exercise and both attack?" Dekar said, assuming a combat stance.

 

[Cryo]

Lesankia stoodback and gestured on. She would let lateral do his thing. She even went as far as to power down. Crossing her amrs, she contended with simply watching. "I'm convinced that Lateral will win, so good luck to you." she said.

Lateral

"You wanna fight, human-boy?" He powered up, and got into his own stance. He drew each hands close to his sides, splying out his fingers.

"I'll go first, since you're so confident in yourself." He puled himself up, throwing his arms out to either side. "MIND WAVES!"

Almost instantly, a bright flash and a resounding boom filled the area as thousands of images of Lateral raced forward, attacking Dekar from every angle. Most disappeared before touching him, but a few went right through him. Dekar was glancing in every direction, trying to find the real Lateral.

Lateral, on the other hand, had his hands drawn back, quite distance above the man's head. "LA! TER! AL! IS!"

The spiral shot forth, and Lateral pumped to more in behind the first before jumping back. The first wave hit Dekar completely by surprise. The second, he simply hit away. The third, on the other hand, sent him falling towards land.

Lateral glanced at Lesankia. "If I were you, I'd run while he's distracted by me. There's a good chan-" Just then, his attention returned to Dekar, who was pummeling the daylights out of him. Lateral dodged as quickly as he could, throwing a few punches and kicks towards the man. This lasted about five seconds, then Lateral buckled from the knee in his gut. "Ow, Okay, that's it! No more mister nice guy!"

Wu Fan

My eyes open wide as I felt enormous powers fighting each other.

"Great! Now what is going on?" Wu Fan thought.

Wu Fan knew he had to go see what was happening. He powered up and flew towards the battle. Hopefully he would make it in time.

 

[Dark Warrior]

Dekar

"I see you have a few fancy techniques up your sleeve." I said, still recovering from that blast.
"It was probably the best he can do..." Dekar thought with a smirk.
"But techniques aren't everything. You need power... like... THIS!" Dekar said, before surging towards Lateral. He landed a few blows into the man's chest before ducking away from a counterattack. As he did so, Dekar powered up a small ball of energy and threw it into the chest of Lateral. As his opponent fell towards the ground, Dekar turned to Lesankia.
"I doubt he's dead, but he'll be out for a while. He can't protect you now, you freak. So just hand over the dragonball and I won't be forced to do the same - or worse - to you." Dekar said, smiling.

 

[Guest]

"Well you'd better look again" she shouted, pointing to lateral. The cyborg hopped onto his feet like it was nothing, though he was a little banged up. Deker looked at lateral in suprise.

"How could you get up after that?" he asked.

Suddenly, Lesankia exploded with power and sored at Deker with amazing speed. Before he could even sense her. she slammed into him, latching on with her arms and legs. "POWER DRAIN" She shouted. Suddenly Deker screamed as his power began to drop rapidly. Within a few seconds he was too week to break from Lesan's iron grip. He tried to power up, but that only fed the drain faster. As a last desperate attack, he headbutted her with all his remaining strength, which stunned her enough for him to break away.

but the damage was done. He wobbilly flew backwards, barely summoning enough energy to fly. Lesankia however was ay a record breaking 11,000 power now. She flew up to him and kneed him in the stomach. as he realed fowared, she hammered his back, sending him flying to the ground. After he slammed into the rocks, he was struck by an energy ball also thrown by the succumbus. The dust cleared and deker lay there, alive, but immobile and twitching. It was easy to grab the dragonball off of him.

"Comeon Lateral, let's go before he recoveres." she said, picking up her friend. Lateral's recovery was just a ploy to set up lesankia's attack, but now he was as week as the opponent. She gave him much of the power she took, and they took off.

He took off, grabbing his dragonball from her. "Not bad, once again, I stand in awe and debt to you, m'lady."

He grinned, looking over at her. "So, that'd be two out of seven, then? I'd say this would be easy, but considering the fact that your friend is just going to hunt us down, I think I'll stay near you 'till I get more powerful."

He continued to grin, looking around. "Anyway, these dragonball thingies, the only grant the one wish, then? And you want, well, I can't say it's what I would wish for. Tell me more about yourself, hmm?"
