Lord having no where to trained, looked aroud for Gohan and Goku. he foudn there house and went inside and told them about all the other warriors training the newly borns. Goku and Gohan both agreed and so did a small version. Lord asked who it was, and they said "Goten" So they all agreed to train Lord even though he was not a saiyan. [/B]

also, Goten is at Capsul Co, watching over Lesankia.

on top of that, you can't jump 4 thousand in a mere day! Only a seyin can do that, and that's ONLY if they recover from near death!. Lateral is the strongest amung us because he DID recover from practical death, and he is a full blooded seyin.

one last point. newborns? Lesan is 18. Lateral and Deker, I don't know, but they ain't little kids, I can tell you that much. We;ve been fighting in this thread since the beginning. You only came in a week ago, and havn't even been able to fight yourself yet. By all standards, you should be the weakest among us. and you should stay that way untill you get some serious fighting in yourself.

FYI, sparing and training do not count as fighting. you have to fight and beat someone much stronger than you to count.

She looked around, with her senses as much as her eyes. Deker was well over 30,000, and Lateral 40,000. At her mere 24,000, she was once again at the bottom of the food chain. in regards to sheer power that is. It is, and allways has been, her unique skills and abilities that set her up as a valid contender.

A new day had come, and more training commenced, but that's not where this takes place. At noontime, they all broke for lunch.

Trunks, Vegita, Lateral, Deker, Goten, Lesankia and Bulma were sitting at the table, enjoying their meal. That is, most of them were enjoying their meal. Bulma had finished an hour ago, but stayed behind for conversational purposes.

What conversation? the 6 seyins were scarfing down platefulls of food in one gulp. At one point, the table collapsed under the weight of so many empty dishes. but that didn't stop them.

Having the least seyin blood, Lesankia ate the slowest and least among them ((About 6 full course meals)). so while the other's munched, she beged bulma to talk about her adventure on Namek. So she did. Later though, lesankia excused herself from the table. Her chest felt funny, so she went to go sit down.

the funny fealing turned into a burning sensation. Opening her shirt, she saw that the handprint on her right breast was flairing. Lesan's eyes opened wide in fear!

An After-Dinner Mint...

Lateral had been saved from the gravity room after several hours, when he'd finally managed to turn the thing of. Resigning himself to less stressful forms of training, he'd eaten a good deal of food. After only full course meal since he'd gone to the planet -the equivelent of about 12 real meals- he'd looked around, to find that Lesankia was gone.

He excused himself, stuffing a last full roast into his mouth before he did so, and went off to find her. When he finally located her, she was staring at her chest, looking quite distraught. "Hey, everything will be fine. C'mon. Don't worry. I won't let anything happen to you. I swear."

IC: Dekar greedily picked up his piece of raw meat and tore into it.
"Wow, calm down Dekar!" Trunks said in between mouthfuls.
Dekar looked up and grunted before returning to his food.
"Alright, enough food!" said Vegeta, pushing his empty bowl away. He patted his stomach contentedly.
"I'm going to go get some sleep." he said as he stood, and turned and left before anyone could say anything.
"I guess I'll head off too." Trunks said, standing up. He waved goodbye to everyone, who answered as best they could due to their handfuls and mouthfuls of food. With that, Trunks turned and left as well.
Bulma stood up and followed without saying a word.
Goten ripped into some more food, before looking around. "Hey, they're all going to bed on an empty stomach! Not a good idea, right, Dekar?" he said, before returning to his food.
Dekar made no response. After a few more minutes, Goten also said goodbye before leaving the room.
Dekar now sat alone at the table, which was littered with empty plates, bowls, cups and everything else. He stood up himself, but instead of following the others, he went outside. He perched himself cross-legged on a nearby rock and took in the scents of the night. Then, he stood and began to train on his own, determined to get stronger.

Lesankia bowled over in pain, her chest burning like none other. Lateral put his hand on her comfortingly, worry crossing his face. He Wished he could help her, but didn't know how.

Suddenly, lesankia began to slide across the floor. Lateral jumped back in suprise. Lesankia was crying in pain. Though nothing was touching her, she was sliding, quite rapidly, across the floor, as if someone had a rope around her and was pulling. She crashed through the door into the Dining room, startling Goten. Lateral charged in and grabbed her, but was only dragged along with her. Whatever was pulling her, was much more powerfull than him.

The two of them slammed into the wall at high speed, plowing right through it. The impact knocked Lateral off. Lesankia slid across the grass harshly, still curled up in pain. She left a deep gash in the ground as she slid. She crashed right though the rock that Deker was sitting on, and kept going. Goten came out through the hole in the wall and began shouting to lesan with worry.

She kept going, knocking down a tree in the proccess. Then she rose into the air and began flying with high velocity into the distance. She was still curled and crying out, so it was obvious that she was being pulled. Lateral, Deker, and Goten followed. She flew well out of the city, into the Planes district. an abandoned piece of land that's nothing but flowing hills.

When she got there, she fell, hard to the ground. She slowly got up, the pain in her chest gone. Looking down, the mark was gone. Sighing in relief, she looked up to the heavens to give thanks. That when she saw him. Floating high above her was a Winged sillohette. and only one person had wings besides her. Lenitri.

So was so afraid that she didn't feel it anymore. She floated up to his level and screamed "WHY WON'T YOU LEAVE ME ALONE ALREADY!?"

"I've come for you Lesankia" he said. "I've come for your hearts, and I'm going to take them"

Lesankia screamed in rage, powering up to her angry max of 27,000. She fired her most powerfull blast at him. He didn't make any move to dodge. He didn't make any move to deflect, he didn't make any move to block. He didn't even bother to power up. Lenitri merely flew there, his wings flapping, his energy at his minimum. so low it couldn't be sensed. The blast hit him. It exploded. The dust and flame spread out 500 feet. When it cleared, he still flew there. He was unscathed, he was inhurt. He didn't even budge an inch in the air, the rythm of his flapping, unhindered.

Lesankia screamed and went into her Counter energy attack. Lenitry finally powered up some, but only to engage a counter energy himself. Lesan's friends showed up then. Their eyes opened wide in shock. He was Powerfull, and he was nowhere near his max. "GOTEN" Lesankia shouted. "HELP. HE CAN'T HURT A SUPER SEYIN!" that was truith. Counter energy doesn't affect super seyin level. Nodding un understanding, he Transformed and attacked.

Lenitry grabbed Goten's fist as he attacked. Goten's energy dissapeared. He hung there in fear, held up only by Lenitry holding his fist. The scaly man smiled evily and looked at lesankia. She fired an energy ball at him in desperation. He punched Goten in the head, knocking him to the ground, then deflected the energy ball. A cruel smile allways on his face.

OOC; sorry about the length. I just wanted to emphasize the power of Lenitri. I also had to get Goten out of the picture.

Dekar

Dekar looked in wonder first at Goten, then Lesankia, and at Lenitri, then once more at Goten.
"Goten... very strong, how he get beaten?" Dekar said in wonder, glancing over at Lateral. Lateral did not answer, but the expression on his face showed he was just as confused as Dekar. Dekar flew down to Goten and crouched down by the fighter.
"You... OK?" Dekar asked, sniffing Goten's body.
"Aaaaah..." he gasped, but then was silent again.
With a look of wonder he concentrated on Lenitri and tried to read his power level.

The Last Ditch Effort

Oh, they were screwed. They were definitely screwed. No way ouit of this one. "Oh, fuck."

It was the only way to described their situation. Oh course, if he still had his tail. He sighed. If he still had his tail, or the artificial moonlight generator (which had been removed from his arm) he could have preformed the Oozaru transformation, which would had multiplied his power twenty times.

But that option was lost to him. His hands clenched into fists. There was nothing he could do. Well, almost nothing. He sneered, and held out his hands, powering up.

He wasn't sure if this would work, but it might. "Re-Attack Wave!"

The icy blue aura appeared, and shot forth in a ball from his hands towards Lenitri, who seemed smug. This attack was known only to Lateral, for its creator had died before fully teaching it to the sayian, who had learned it on his own time.

Theoreticially, it would invert Lenitri's Counter Energy, shifting it's effects back onto Lenitri. Lateral was prepared for this to happen, and was rushing forward even as the Re-Attack hit. Lateral was hoping that it would open a window of weakness in the other, but, as of yet, was unsure of it's effects...

Lord - On the other side

Lord and the others woke up and found Goten gone. They figured he went out to do somin and so they went out and begann training. Punch kick punch punch kick kick ki attack. This went on for hours and hours and training kept going and going

A Desperite attack.

Lateral charged up, his hands glowing blue. The Re-attack wave had an opposite affect on energy, so he hoped it would do something good to Lenitri. The dragonman saw him coming, but didn't move.

Lateral caught him, and grabbed him with the icy blue hands. For a moment, nothing happened. Then all Hell broke loose. Energy began to fly around randomly, light so intence that noone could see. With a flash, Lateral was thrown to the ground.

The energy and light quickly cleared away. And indeed, counter energy was no longer in effect. however, it was worse. Counter energy is a Negative power level of unlimiting proportions. It takes on the exact opposite power as the power sourse it touches. And when two opposites mix....

Lenitri was now using a completly new attack, never before thought possible shy of Kaio Ken. Power Enhansment. Lenitry was glowing with flames, his power immense, and amplified. Unreadably powerfull, he was still nowhere near his max.

The dragonman laughed at the feeble attempt that only made him stronger. But the laugh was short lived. Wasting no more time, he charged lesankia. His claw ever reaching for her chest, to rip out her hearts. She made a feble attempt to dodge, but he was too fast. He grabbed her, and tried to dig his hand into her bare flesh. She got an Idea.

Power Drain! Lesankia hoped to steal some of Lenitri's energy, but he saw it coming. He headbutted her, knocking her away before she could take anything. He tried again. Lesankia ran for her life, trying desperatly to escape. Lenitri caught her however, and punched her down, into the ground. she slammed into a hill, creating a deep crater. Lying face up, she crossed her arms across her chest as a defence for her heart. Lenitri wasn't intimidated. Flying down, he grabed her wrists and wrenched her arms apart. But mistake.

Preassure Wave! she yelled as her arms spread. A shockwave of pure preassure spread outward, pushing Lenitri away. The dragonman was caught entirely by surprise, having never heard of an attack like that before. But it didn't stop him for long. Amazingly, he pushed right through the wave, and charged Lesan again.

He slammed into the dirt, Lesan using a Resokuten dodge at the last second. Lenitri got up and gave Lesankia a smile. "You can't escape any more. I know all your tricks now" he said. And he flew at Lesankia.

Preassure sphere! As a last desperate attack, Lesankia engaged her protective Preassure sphere. Lenitri bounced right off. In anger, he set off a barage of attacks and energy balls at her, but they all bounced away. Safe for the moment, Lesankia took a breather. "I need power" she said to herself. Crossing her legs, she meditated, going into her Timeless Train Technique. The only way to get power here was to steal it from the dead. She only hoped she was fast enough.

Angry now, Lenitri powered up to his max. Lateral and Deker stepped back in fear, for he was at an unreasonable 185,000 power! Not willing to let his prey escape, He engaged a timeless train himself.

OOC; a little distraction is necessary. Sorry again for the long post, but this will be over in 2 more episodes.

Latertal's Rage

And it snapped. When Lateral got back up, he'd lost himself. He just didn't care anymore. It was over. "The way of the world, the way of the world..."

He didn't even bother to power up. His own 50,000 was useless now. It didn't make any difference. Nothing would make a difference. It was over.

Lateral drew in a deep breath, and walked over to the two. Lenitri was too powerful for lateral to defeat, and yet, he was in timeless train, and therefore gone. Lateral didn't care. He walked close, and looked between the two before turning to Lenitri and slamming his fist into him as hard and Lateral could manage.

He was past caring. He was past rational thought. He just kicked and punched. He didn't even bother with energy waves.

"It." A kick. "Just." A punch. "Doesn't." Anoher kicked, and a punch. "Mattter!"

He knew what he was getting himself into, but he didn't care. Why should he? What was the point? He'd most likely get himself killed, but it was a good enough way to die, he supposed...

A super seyin allready?

in Grand Kai's Planet

Lesankia ran into the building. SHe ignored the greetings and welcomed from her friends, and ran strait for the gym. "Power, I need power!" She yelled as she went inside. Every so often, Lenitri appeared and dissapeared from the realm. Something was distracting his concentration on earth. Good. She needed all the time she could get.

she ran up to the first fighter she could find. some firry guy from the south quadrent. "I need power!" she cried. the guy looked at her in puzzlement. She grabbed him and shouted Power drain!. the fighter screamed as all of his power was sucked out of him and into Lesan. He must have been a strong one, because her power doubled. But she wasn't done yet.

Dragon and eagle ran up to her and grabbed her. "What's going on LEsan? How can we help?" She turned around and grabed eagle. Power drain! Eagle screamed, then collapsed, her power drained into Lesankia. Power drain! Dragon quickly followed.

each time she used it, the fire in her gut grew. It was unbarable, but she continued. Her power was upwards of 100,000. She was on her knees, clutching her stomach in pain. Then lenitri finally made it. He appeared suddenly. He stepped towared Lesan.

She sensed him. Putting her pain to the back of her mind, she stood up and faced him. To her right was Uribo, the greek fighter from earth, and the second most powerfull deadguy in the planet. THey both broke in a dash for him. But lesan was closer. She slammed into him and grabbed his bare skin.

Power drain!...

With a flash, both Lesankia and Lenitri were knocked back into the real world. The flash blew Lateral away. When he could see again, he saw a frightening sight. Lesankia was contorting in pain, Power flowing out of her uncontrollably. Her power reading was unmeasurable! Even Lenitri's eyes were opened wide in shock.

Lesan started to scream, the unbarable pain getting worse by the second. If she didn't get rid of it, she would die, but she needed it. SUddenly, Lesan shouted. Her amrs and legs and wings spread apart. With a flash, she changed. Her hair went blonde, the power settled in a steady flame. She looked up and at her enemy. Her eyes dark and angry. Lateral and Deker looked on with fear and shock. Goten was still unconcious.

Lateral Watches

Oh, he was surprised all right. Lenitri had been beating the poor sayian silly by inly hitting him whenever he was distracted. But Lateral had kept it up, and now, he couldn't even stand up anymore. And, quite frankly, he didn't care to.

No one had ever explain Super Sayians to him before, and therefore he had no clue what was going on. And what's more, he wasn't sure he wanted to know.

He merely watched. "Lesankia?"

The Wolf Attacks

Dekar had had enough of waiting. His impatience was growing even as he watched Lesankia powering up. He did not know what was happening to her, so he decided to ignore it, looking across at Lenitri instead. He looked extremely shocked, but suddenly he regained himself and was charging at Lesankia. Dekar knew she had not finished powering up yet and if he attacked now it could be disastrous. Unable to control his impatience any longer, he flew forwards at a desperate speed, grabbing a hold of Lenitri as he was only about a metre away from Lesankia. Dekar managed to take him by surprise, and pushed him away from Lesankia. However, now, as Dekar held on to him, he realised just how strong Lenitri was. He opened his mouth to say something.
"Stupid kid!" Lenitri yelled with rage, and broke from Dekar's grip, before sending the weaker flying with a single blow.
Dekar flew backwards and crashed into a mountain. The mountain shook and crashed on top of him. He lay, unconcious, below a pile of rock, blood pouring from his many wounds.

Held on for too long

She merely stood there, staring at him. Her face cold and angry. Occasionaly her face would twitch in pain, but it went away quickly.

Through glowing eyes she watched as her friends fell. Though she didn't show it, Lesan was deeply hurt having her own problems hurt them. But that was over now. One way or another, she was done running from her fear, and stood up to it.

Lenitri was tired from these games, and wanted to simply rip out her hearts so he could find another family to terrorize. Life on earth sure has given them some suprising techniques, but they were nothing compared to him. Golden hair. Ptew!

He charged at lesan, his right claw extended towared her chest. SHe caught it. Catching him by suprise as much, he couldn't wrench his wrist free. So he aimed with his left claw. It was caught too. Lesankia had both his wrists gripped steadfast Lenitri looked on in fear and suprise. How can someone be stronger than me? he thought. Lesan didn't notice. she didn't think at all. she just wanted this over.

Power Drain!

Lenitri screamed as for the first time the power was drained from him. Lesankia's face contorted freely in pain, but she held on. When his power was down by half, He gave a shout and forced the power drain to end. He had long since discovered how to block the power drain, she just caught him by suprise. Now she was his though.

she only smiled. Heat Drain!

Lenitry braced to hold in his energy, when he felt somethi8ng different. His entire body went cold. He didn't understand how, but was truily frightened now. He was a cold blooded creature, and despite his power, still needs some level of warmth to survive. she can do this?

Heat drain Lenitri's body turned blue and frost began to form around him. With hatefull eyes he attempted to power up, for as much reason to break free as to raise his temperature.

Heat Drain! It was over. His body temperature reduced to practically Absolute zero. -270 Degrees Celcius. His body froze, and went blue. If he wasn't allready standing on the ground, he would have crashed down.

It was finally over. Lesan let go of lenitri's wrist and collapsed to the ground in pain. Curled in a ball, power began to flow freely and uncontrollably out of her body. She was dying, and she knew it. But, she was fine with it. She managed to stop her enemie. With pride, even through the pain, she lifted her head up to look at him.

His hand twitched. Her eyes opened wide with shock. How? She forced herself to stand up. Though frozen, his eyes managed to inch their way in her direction, his brown curling down in angre. The arms slowly began to creak their way up for her neck.

She put her hands beside his head. "No, I'm going to make sure you STAY dead this time" she whispered. His arms managed to curl upward enough to grab onto her bear skin. His mouth slowly mouthed the word 'power'.

Preassure Crush!!! The ultimate attack in her preassure series. Lenitri's frozen head exploded into a million tiny shards. The arms went limp. Lesan put her hands on his chest and shouted Preassure Cannon!

his entire body followed suit. The ground quickly became blue with trillions of shards of frozen lenitri. Lesan ripped the arms off her own and through them to the ground, where they too shattared. Flying high into the air, Lesan finally released all of her excess energy. As one solid beam of power, she sent it flying towared the ground, and the icy remains of Lenitri.

the ground exploded as pure power pounded into it. for minutes, the power continued to pour, an unquenchable supply. But it eventually quenched. the river of power subsided and the light ended. every shread of lenitri was completely vaporized. in his place, was a mile deep crater. In the middle of the crater, fell Lesankia.

Lateral recovered somewhat and saw Lesan fall. He ran to the edge of the crater, and awed at the power she put into making it. Flying down to the center, he picked up her limp form. "Lesan, Lesan, hold on!"

she looked up at him. Blood poored freely from her nose, mouth, ears and eyes. Her left wing was missing, and her leg broken. "I-it's over" she whispered.

"Yah, you beat him." he said.

"I-i.. i held on to-to long" she said.

"don't talk" said Lateral. "Here, eat this sensu bean it will fix you right up." SHe gave a faint nod and cracked her mouth open. Lateral took out a sensu bean and put it in.

Lesankia began to jerk uncontrollably. THe bean jumped out of her mouth. She began to contort wildly, in all kinds of impossible angles. "Ah ha ah AHh Agh ah AHH HE Agh AHHHHH!!!!!" she screamed them...

BANG!!

The Last Word

Lateral was stunned. Lesankia, gone? He stood up slowly, and looked around.

Then, it snapped. Everything suddenly ceased to make sense. He threw back his head, and powered up to his max, screaming his lungs out. "Noooo!"

He blasted away, disappearing into the maountains.


The Hunters- One Remains

The countdown completed, and She awoke. The pod-bot slowly walked to the shore, where it emerged onto land, right next to a town. A robotic hand was raised, and energy blasts began to rain out at the buildings.

A helpfull tip

Nope. if you forgot, in Dragonball series, someone can be revived from the dead using the dragonballs! (duh).

IC; Lesankia stood in line at the gates of the after life. Some gargantuan guy towered above her and everyone else, sitting at a table, and telling people of their destination. Looking around, Lesan realized that she was among the few people to retain their body after death. Putting her above the rest, she got out of line and walked around for a minute.

Near the front of the line was lenitri. Being dead now, Lesankia had no fear of him, so she went to great her old nemesis.

"Well It looks like I managed to avenge my family, and that you ain't gona come back!" she said, walking up to him. Lenitri looked over with mild amusement in his face. "What? your not angry?" she asked.

"I allways expected someone to rise up and destroy me. I was nothing special, I just trained hard. The fact that it was you is suprising though" he said. his voice sounding normal for once.

"Well you know your going to the realm of infinite loosers now, right?" she asked. Lenitri gave her a puzzled look, so she explained that that's where evil men go when they die. "Here's a Little tip though." she said helpfully. "Everyone down there is an evil creature of some sort. Your best bet to survive is to beat up someone right off the bat, and gain their respect early"

Lenitri thought about it. "that's a good idea. any idea's who I should grind under my heel?"

"Hmmm... yah. about 20 years ago, someone named Cell was defeated from earth. He looks tough, but it a whimp when you get down to it. He's a good choice. YOu can't mistake him. he is green with a handsome white face" she said.

"Hey, thanks for the tip. that cell won't know what hit him" he said. His turn came up and he was sent down to the realm of infinite loosers. Lesan smiled cynically at the trick she pulled on him. An eternity of punishment from people a millikon times your superior should make us about even, she thought.

Her Turn came.

Lateral

He had taken up training the minute Lesan had blown up. The split form technique, with three of his others.

Punches and kicks flew, energy blasts caused havoc. At some point, one of them had used the Counter Energy Lesan had taught him, and hadbeaten to of the others down. With the new knowledge of the Re-Countered Energy, as he liked to call it, the battle was insane.

Especially since each one was trying his best to kill the other three. There was no talking, only the shouts of attacks as they went at their three-for-all.

Lateral was, in a word, pissed. Lesan, the only person he cared about, was dead. She was up and about, and even the Z fighters couldn't defeat her battle suit. All of them were battling it now, he knew.

And it'd be another year before he could wish Lesan back! With a final blast of energy, one stood supreme. The others, beaten byond repair, geave their energy back. Lateral took the bean left from when he had tried to help Lesan, and ate it.

He lay for a few minutes, on the cusp of death. It hadn't taken much, after being beaten senseless by Lenitri. And this, this had done it. He needed Lesankia.

He needed dragonballs. But they were all used up. Or were they? Was there more than one set? Or some other way to get a wish granted? He'd find out tomorrow. Now, he needed to sleep.

ic: Lord and the others kept on training the rest of the day til about 6 o clock. At 6 o clock PM Gokou suggested they go train in the gravity chamber at Bulmas place. Lord was at 23,000 power lvl and decided he could try it. They flew over to Bulmas place and asked her if they could use a gravity room. Bulma said sure and they went in. They set it at 10x Earths gravity and lord dropped instantly to his feet. He powered up to his max, 23,000 and tried to stand up. He was able to, he asked them if he could just excercise since this was hard for him. He did 1 handed pushops, 1 handed stand ups, and 1 handed stand ups doing push ups(confusing huh?) They trained and trained, Gokou and Gohan trained with each other and observered Lord's training. They kept going on and on, until nighttime. Lord was at 24,000 and they asked Bulma if they could stay over to train again tomorrow.

OOC; Interesting. I had no idea that vegita allowed Goku and Gohan to use the gravity chamber. I mean sure, ever since they gained the ability to merge into Gogetta they have become friends, but Vegita still is the stuck up seyin prince that we all know and love (when he's on our side).

IC; She wasn't given the warmest of all greatings on grand kai's planet. Many fighters geered at her angrilly for stealing their power. Dragon was no exception.

"Why did you have to go and do that!?" he asked, yelling at her. "Not only was it morally wrong, but it managed to get yourself killed!"

"Calm down" said eagle, a little more understanding. "If it wern't for our power, she would never have defeated her opponent. that scaly lizard guy from before if I'm not mistaken"

dragon grumbled a little, then turned away. "So tell me Succumbi, How did you manage to spend time here again when you were alive?" Succumbi being her animal nickname.

"I used a technique called 'timeless train', where my soul left the mortal realm to come hear and train." Lesan explained.

"Well, since your actual body is here now, what would happen if you used that technique?"

"You know, I never thought about that!" Lesan looked up at her golden halo with wonder. "Let's find out. But, do me a favor? if you see anything wrong with me, distract me back into this plane, ok?" Eagle aggreed. Finding a secluded spot behind the castle/arena, lesan sat down and began to concentrate. Her power began to slowly rise. Before long, the power settled into a steady dark aura around her.

She looked around. wherever she was, it was a reck. craters everywhere, grass burnt to a crisp, and the smell of chared flesh was in the air. Lesankia cringed her nose in discuss. "I guess that it's a good place to train by myself, but the smell is just too much!" she said to herself. Suddenly, she heard a sound behind her.

"Lesankia!"

She turned around, and saw Lateral standing on top of a nearby hill. He rubbed his eye to make sure he wasn't dreaming, but she was actually standing there. Lateral wasted no time and ran down to her, embracing her. "I thought you died!" he said.

"I did" she exclaimed, pointing to the halo above her head.

He stared. Dead? And yet, she was here? Well, that at least explained what his Uncles meant when they said 'There is no death, only another life.' He looked at the halo around her head.

"So, what're you doing back here so early then? Paradise not all it's cracked up to be?"

He was brimming with happiness. It was a good day. A very good day.

A dinner out.

Lesankia and Lateral flew to that russian resturant they ate at so many weeks ago. It seems like years, but it's only been a couple of months since they started for the dragonballs.

They sat down and ordered a meal. When the manager questioned them about the bill they forgot to pay before, they denied knowledge. Indeed, a lot has happened. How were they to know that they forgot to pay for a meal, letalone have one to begin with?

Lesankia told him about her Timeless train technique. How when she was alive, her soul went to grand Kai's planet to train with the warriors of past. (she also told him about the Kai system and the afterlife, though she left out the part of a supreme Kai. she just didn't know about him.). Apparently, her timeless train technique when envoked from that side sent her here. a pleasent discovery if I must say so. Being allready dead, Lesan could fight whomever she wanted however she wanted without fear of dying.

The food was sparse. Being only an astro projection (she sure looked and felt real enough) she had no real need to eat. They were just finishing up what little they had, when the TV was turned on.

"We inturrupt this program to give you a special report. Something terrible has happened to the cities near the coastline district. A terrible tragity, where entire cities are being destroyed. Nothing like this has been seen since the island city was destroyed by those androids, some 20 years ago. We now take you live to the scene......
.........it appears that our field crew is having some technical difficulties. We'll bet back to them as soon as possible. Reports say that....."

Lateral looked up at the TV with fear. He knew what was going on. Lesan only gave him a confuzed look.
