Zeo asked he turned back towards Michio "I'll take them with us but hang on" Zeo said as he pushed a button some smaller devices came out "This is like what your Liason but a smaller version, They go behind your ear, I think these will be better but i dont mind what ever we use" Zeo said as he handed them to the others "They run on a freqceny that no one can get access to" Zeo added

I look at the devices given to me from Zeo. They do seem more easier to handle and easy to reproduce.

'Thank you Zeo. We'll use your devices then.'

I take three of them. Two to use and one for Mr. Popo to tear apart to see how it works so he can copy it.

Laos

Laos had contemplated in silence, but he was brought back abruptly by Zeo's urgings. He frowned at the man for a moment, stroking his chin.
"Ok, I'm going to go with you, Zeo. Michio, I'm sure you and Ski can protect the Earth without me... and I need to do something to help Kelson. Even if that means putting up with Zeo for a while. I hope you understand." he turned to Michio, nodding, and Michio's look showed that he did understand entirely. "Alright, then, shall we go, Zeo?" he asked, taking one of the tiny contraptions and pocketing it.

Lets go!!!!!

"Glad to have you abord" Zeo said "Will you be ok Laos" Zeo asked, Zeo had really warmed up to the group he didnt normally do this but he felt bad for Kalson and wanted to help. But Zeo was ill all though he didnt tell the others he knew that he if came apart again then there was no chance that he could become Zeo again and this scared him, But he had one last trick up his sleave, Battle mode his last option as Ze and Marko.

"Computer set a course to Namic as fast as posible" Zeo said he started to take deep breaths "I'll see you around Michio" Zeo said. The doors on the ship closed and the ship turned round and sped off to space, There last stop would be Namic and probably the end of Zeo.

OOC) I'm going to change Zeo abit in the next few posts, i've been taking to Badman and i think in a way he agrees with me lol, I'll be adding 2 new characters played by me, one is a woman and the other is another Zeo from a different Dimention, all will be cleared up soon

Gohan18: First off, welcome to the wonderful world of Literotica. Hope you enjoy it here as much as I do.
Secondly, about joining this. As you can probably tell, we are VERY far into this storyline (Only a very tiny number of threads ever get to 28 pages - oh, and, on a side note, 28 pages, wow, keep it up everyone ) and so you might have a little trouble slotting in. However, if you are still determined, I will not stop you. You may wish to read our earlier posts, but there's a hell of a lot of them (556 to be exact). If you can't be bothered reading that many (And I wouldn't blame you), at least read the first page (particularly my first post, lays down a very basic plot framework and thread/character limitations) and the last 2 or 3 pages to get a grip on what's going on at the moment.
Oh, and, if you are still interested, gimme a yell, I'll post you a brief plot summary (If any of you others want to, feel free to write one up, I just can't be bothered at the moment).

IC: Laos.

Laos looked out from the space ship on the rapidly dwindling planet Earth, which was quickly nothing more than a dot in the middle of the blackness of space.
The world that had given him everything and nothing was now behind him. Whether for good or not was yet to be decided.
Then he started worrying about Earth. The only ones left now to defend it where Michio and Ski - though, no doubt, they could look after themselves, and the planet to boot. No, there was no point worrying about it.
The planet Namek - that sent shivers down Laos' spine. As a kid he had always dreamed of being a space man, of travelling to other worlds to battle evil alien monsters with purple skin and five tentacles. Never, however, had he ever thought he actually would ever leave the planet Earth.
And here he was.
Goodbye, Earth. I will return.
With that, he turned from the window-like object, walking towards Zeo. Why was he trusting this guy all of a sudden? Why was he not killing him altogether?
"Shall we train, Zeo?" Laos asked softly.

Its getting closer

As Zeo powered up his engines and they reached outer space he decided to give Laos sometime to himself ^The time is near^ Zeo thought his breathing was getting heayier "Shall we train, Zeo?" he hird from Laos but it was only softly "If.. you..want" Zeo said he was getting worse he got up from his chair and feel to his knees "Its.....getting.....worse...." Zeo said it was hard for him to breath "Not now please not now" Zeo as as he fainted on the floor.

OOC: Ok, here's that plot summary for Gohan18:
Our story begins a long time after the series, so long in fact that all the Z Fighters are dead of natural causes (And so can't be wished back with the dragonballs), except Piccolo. Piccolo's last ditch effort to stay alive was to fuse with Dende - the fusion with the young Namek prolonged his death for a few more years yet, enabling him to take up the role of the Guardian/Kami of Earth once again.
But then, he sees dark omens, and begins to suspect evil is on its way to challenge the safety of Earth. He knows he doesn't have very long to live, and so cannot defend Earth himself, and so he begins a search of the all the Earthlings to find strong fighters with dormant strength, in particular, the descendents of the saiyans. His search came up with 5 suitable fighters: Laos, Ski, Nilons, and Michio, all of saiyan descent, and Kelson, a pure human, but with much more potential than the others of his race.
And so Piccolo brought these 5 to the Lookout. They were confused, especially when Piccolo started telling them about saiyans, flying, inner power, energy attacks, and the like. However, they all understood that the Earth was in danger and they were the only ones who could protect it. And so, they trained, gradually learning the skills associated with Dragonball Z.
Ok, this is getting a little long winded already, so I better start summarising. After training for a while, the Earth Defender's first challenge came along: Zeo, another saiyan descendent, but stronger than any of the Defenders. There was a brief scuffle with him, before he escaped with Nilons, taking off once again in his space ship to go back to his boss, Mark. The other Defenders all thought Nilons was dead, and so fell into a bit of a depression. But, when they told Piccolo, he told them about the Dragonballs, and how they could be used to wish someone back to life. So, they gathered them, and wished for Nilons to be brought back to life. The Dragon refused them, telling them that he could not bring Nilons back to life, but before he could say why, Piccolo died, and with him went the Dragonballs and the Dragon, who was in the process of telling them why.
The reason was because she was still alive. Nilons joined up with Zeo, planning to kill him and return to Earth when she got strong enough. So, Nilons and Zeo trained for 2 years, before Mark (The ultimate evil guy - dunno if I mentioned him already) did some crazy DNA experimentation and artificially inseminated Nilons, in the hopes of creating an ultimate Saiyan fighter that would be even stronger than his best henchman, Zeo. Nilons and Zeo then escaped from Mark's space ship and returned to Earth. There was a bit of confusion (Ok, a LOT of confusion) upon their return, as everyone rushed to exact vengeance on Zeo for killing Nilons, only to see that Nilons was still alive. Not only that, but both Zeo and Nilons had changed: they had ascended to a form known as "High Saiyan", kind of like a Super Saiyan 1/2 (That's half). In this mode the hair does not change, but the character does grow a tail, not to mention have a fairly large power boost.
Okay, there was a bit of confusion, a bit more of a fight with Zeo, before Michio and Laos understood that Zeo was there to help them, not fight them, and began to try to convince the others. Ski sort of understood, and kinda accepted it, but Kelson was adamant in his refusal that Zeo was there to help. He flew off the handle and flew away, and the others decided it would be good to leave him alone for a bit.
Soon enuff, however, Laos, who had trained with Kelson the whole 2 years since Nilons' "death", and had befriended the previously unbefriendable (Is that a word?), went to calm him down, followed by Zeo and Michio. Kelson went beserk, attacking Laos, nearly killing him. Laos was pushed to the very brink of life and death, and so, in a desperate moment, ascended to the High Saiyan form just like Zeo and Nilons before him. This saved his life. Meanwhile, Zeo attacked Kelson, and overdid it, mortally wounding Kelson. Laos, of course, went crazy, but Zeo tried to preserve Kelson in a healing tank. Laos swore that if it did not work, he would kill Zeo. After a while, Kelson died completely, despite the healing tank, and Laos went to take care of Zeo. They fought for a bit, with Zeo just getting the upper hand, though it was pretty close, before Laos realised that nothing would come out of killing Zeo, and so stopped the fight.
Meanwhile, Nilons has gone to planet Namek to get the dragonballs there to wish back Kelson, and Zeo decided he would go off as well. He asked Michio and Laos if they would come with him. Michio refused, saying he had to look after Earth, but Laos took him up on his offer, wanting to do anything to help Kelson.

And that's about where we're up to.

Collison Course

Awakining to the sound of an alarm. I slipped of my sleeping bag and got into my regular clothes to find out what it was. I was sort of still sleepy eyed when I got to the front of my spacecraft. I first checked all off the system to make sure they were working correctly then all of a sudden my eye caught the radar. There was another spacecraft headed right for me. I fire the booster rocket to try to get out of its path but the damn things won't work. I have a quick thought on how to reach them and grab the radio. I start to hail them.

ooc) I wont be here till sunday night and i thought i would post something to keep the story going, I will be doing somethig different to Zeo now, all will be intoduced in the post.

IC: Zeo got up, he was going to be fine but the process was going on, soon it would be the end of him for good. "Come on lets train" Zeo said as he lead Laos to a room, the room lit up and a place on earth formed this was in fact a holomatrix "Wow what is the place Zeo" Laos asked in amazment "This is knowen as a holomatrix, Mark made this for long flights, it is made to pleasure the fighters on there long journey, but i changed it into a fighting room" Zeo replied

About 2 Weeks passed

Somewere in another Dimention, "Hey come one i only wanted to train" A fermailer voice said "Not now this is important" Mark said "Awww man, you never treat me like a growen up" Zeo said "Maybe its the fact that your only a teenager and you have a lot to work on" Mark Continued he shut the door. ^Man i want to do something i'm getting board here^ Zeo thought. Zeo started walking down the hall he was the most powerfulist perosn on Mark's planet, He noticed a lab that was open, Now Zeo knew about everything that was going on the planet, he did notice something else Mark's love pet the Digi pixie other wise knowen as Zoe, "Hey what you doing?" Zeo asked "Oh Zeo i didnt see you there, were tying something called a dimental rift we have locked onto something that looks like a termedous fight, we also beleve that we might be able to steal some people and train them" Zoe said

"Really thats fasanating" Zeo said as he jumped onto the work bench "So what are your plans for tonight?" Zeo asked "Well i was going to see Mark but he canceled so i'm free" Zoe said blushing, "Well why not go out with me then" Zeo asked, Zoe was blushing "Well errr ok" She replied smileing. It wasnt everyday that someone asked her out. Just then Zeo's hand sliped and hit a leaver alot of Alarms went off and a portal opened up the room was being sucked in. It pulled Zeo and Zoe into it sending them to an unknowen regeon of Space and Time.

Just then somewere else in the univerise Zeo's ship landed the door opened and Laos and Zeo steped out, They both didnt even know what was going to happen to them.

"So this is Namic then" Laos asked "Errrr....Gasp yeah it is" Zeo said out of breath. just then there was a blinding light and were Zeo stood was now Marko and Ze.

OOC) Zoe and Zeo are going to play a major role in the next part and even battle mode will be activated. All will become clear soon.

DW, you said I need to learn some patience. I normally have been patient since you talked to me a month or so ago. I hope you forgive my three very long posts in a row but I did half to disapear for a week so I have an excuse. (If I learned anything from school it's allways have an excuse.)

G18, Not bad for a first post. Since Dw did the sumary I'll do some basic info and advice. First is probably the most important, I recamend joining several other storys. This will help you get a fill for how this site works and also a good sorce for ideas, also it's fun to make new carecter's. Next ask others for permision when you get a complicated Idea that involves there careecter. (EXAMPLES: Nilons is pregnat with Zeo's child. Kelson loves Nilons. These where made by ttwo or three private messages between the players.) And finally try not to change anything some one else has already done.

I've been here off and on a few weeks so avoid long discusions with Nilons. Also we won't wish Kelson back til' next week he's up working like me.

I'm seting a bad example by picking you up G18 but, Zeo didn't and I'm short on time. SO in my post I'll pick you up.

Mind Games: Mind Poison

As he entered Ski's mind he was immediately hit by the memory synapses. With his sentient mind being flooded by memories of Ski's childhood he sees Ski's mother leaving his father taking him and his older sister with her. Then he sees Ski grow up always fighting but staying in school to get his degree. Then he sees a moments Ski kept enraptured in gold. There was the birth of his first daughter Chae, his first tournament victory then were was his first meeting with other Saiyans finally bigger than the rest it was the day that he met Crystal. Pushing further he sees how Ski managed to mix in the warrior training style that Piccolo and the others employ with the more lethal fighting style of the assassain taught to him by his wife. Wait a minute if Crystal is the X5 and she worked for Ski's late father than means Ski is the son of Saph.

This is perfect. Not only will I add a Saiyan assassain to my army but I will also have the son of one of Earth most powerful fighters. This will be my vengence for him and Kazou stopping me before the last time I tried to take Earth.

Pushing further and further I finally arrived at the dream center from her I observe the flow of Ski's dream. It seems that we are in some kind of gladiator arena and he is battling Zeo while millions of people suffer with each blow Zeo connects with. From what I can tell this is the part of the dream where he is defeated how ever that does not suit my purpose instead I begin to force him to dig deeper tapping below the surface of his power. For once I made Ski reach farther than he ever imagined to that well of power that existed beyond his knowledge. Forcing him to dig deeper I see his body begin to glow.

As he man his way to his feet Ski began to glow brighter and brighter. No matter how much "Zeo" attacked him it had no effect. Suddenly "Zeo" flew above him and dropping his most powerful energy attack almost burying Ski inside a huge crater. However once the crater began to cool a blinding light came from inside of it along with a primal roar. "Zeo" attempted to look into the crater but he was startled as out of the crater flew glowing with energy with a tail wisping in the breeze was Ski. Staff in hand Ski decimated "Zeo" beating and bloodying him.

Looking into the crowd Ski was confused because the real Zeo lied among the beaten Earth's warriors. Looking down he sees the warrior he was fighting was not Zeo but rather it was Crystal . Looking up to side of the arena he saw the shadow of Mark sitting. He looked up at the tryant only to here the scurge of space yell "Don't look at me finish her." Ski did not want to do this but his body was taking a mind of its own. As much as he tried to stop it he could not help himself. Bringing the blade of his staff hight above his head he cried and roared the primal roar once more and beheaded the woman who he loved more than anything else ever. Falling to his knees cuddling her bloody decapitated head, he wept at what his body was just forced him into doing.

Suddenly he saw a dark figure walk over to him in a cloak. While he was not sure who or what this was, he listened as the man told him "It does not have to be this way. You stop this vision from happening. All you have to do is listen to me. Walk with me young one and you will learn all you need to know."

OOC: Not bad Phenix, you got my curosity peaked.

G18 I'm assumeing you read every carecter discription on the first page but Zeo's was latter on so I'll do a really quick discription. He's in his 20's, has gold blond hair and brown eye's. Zeo might add to this but those are the basics. Oh and Nilons dosen't look pregnat unless she isn't wereing a shirt, to early.

IC: I wake up moments before Namik to the sound of sirens. "Holy shit, I'm going to hit them." I flick a switch and narowly avoid crashing. "Shit that was close." A second siren "What now?" The force of our near colision or rather our efforts to maintain no accident have caused both ships to fall torwards the planet.

I crash land a good mile from the other ship. Good thing these ships are made to last. I better check the other ship. It's not a good idea to make the natives angry at me. I fly over to the other ship. I find what apears to be an entrance. I turn a knob and walk inside.

"Any one there? Do you speak english?" I walk to the front and find a young looking man. "He's human. Is he dead?" I walk over to him and check his pulse. "Good he's alive." Just then my scouter blinks. Checking my arm band I see his power "Holy shit!! It' took me a year of training to get that strong. And I'm part sayain. Yet this boy has that much power and I've never seen him before." I'll check on him when he wakes up. For now I need to get working torwards Kelson. Has he really loved me that whole time? I then leave to gather the dragon balls.

OOC: If you want to be technical this happens before Zeo and Laos arive. Any how odviously the dragon balls won't all be gathered this week. Now that 3 Pc's are here though be careful not to interact with Nilons. Each dragon ball should have a challenge and if thats not enough have Vengence come down and be a real pain to every one, cept Nilons leave her as alone as you can, please.

OOC: Ack, I was actually hoping that we might leave the landing on Namek bit for a while. Hell, we only just got in the air, and we decided the flight would take a week or two (game-time), right? It shouldn't all be over in 1 or 2 posts.
G18: 'Scuse everyone for using this as your "nickname", but everyone tends to do that around here. I've gotten used to being called DW, coz it is a bit of a pain to write Dark Warrior every time. Good intro, umm, but I think the collision will occur much much much before Namek. Perhaps about a day or two after leaving Earth. I know that would kinda ruin the idea of you both landing on Namek, but G18's original plan (I know this thru PMs) was to have the two ships collide. I wasn't sure how this would work, but decided to let him try it out, to see what would happen. Anyways, I guess that's up to you guys, that's just my suggestion, I thought that'd get G18 into the action pretty quickly, coz I thought that's where we'd be up to, before I read that you guys had already skipped like two weeks... Oh, and, G18, with your affiliation with Capsule Corp, you'd probably know Nilons, as she is the daughter of the company's boss. Whether she knows u back or not is up to cats I guess, I'm sure that CC would have more than 1 test pilot and so she may or may not know some/all of them.
Everyone else: Good posting. I think this thread is about to undergo some fairly major twists and turns, with the search for the dragonballs, the splitting of Ze/Marko, the appearance of John, more clashes with Mark's henchmen, and the continuation of Phoenix's ever popular "Mind Games" series, some forced interaction between Zeo and Laos... yes, it is starting to look very interesting... it's good to see that even after 29 pages you guys can still keep coming up with original ideas. That's awesome, I don't think I've ever been involved in such a kick-ass thread, let alone started one!

IC: Laos.

Laos started forwards to catch Zeo, but the man evaded his grasp as he collapsed to the floor. Laos looked on, confused, but Zeo soon picked himself back up. Before Laos could ask any questions, Zeo quickly said that they needed to train and walked away. Laos had no choice to follow, and, again, before he could ask anything, they stepped into the holomatrix, and he was surprised as it changed into a familiar scene from planet Earth. After Zeo had explained that it was a room for fighting, Laos grinned evilly at him, lowering himself into a fighting pose. He cracked his neck by moving it to each of his shoulders before loosening up his body a bit.
"Alright then Zeo, let's see what you got. But be careful: I'm not holding back. Put it this way: if I did happen to ACCIDENTLY kill you, I wouldn't have any regrets. I don't particularly care whether you live or die. Now, let's get on with it." Laos challenged. "Your move first, Zeo."

Mind Games: With us or against us


As I walk with him. I can detect his reluctance to being in my pressense however I am not worried because most of my more powerful soldiers were reluctant to join my forces at first however in time no one has turned down my offers. The key to this is to find what they covet more than anything and then find out how can you control that thing. To Ski the thing he covets most is his family his wife and his children. To him they mean more to him than his own life. Once I found that since the first vision he had way back since Zeo forced him into slumber during his first visit to this planet (p.5-6). While Ski thought he was dead the one thing he about more than losing the battle with Zeo was the fact that Zeo destroyed his daughter right in front of him. Everyday and every night training in gravity conditions that were 3x that of Earth, he combined the warrior fighting style taught by Piccalo with the assassain technique. This makes him a very very dangerous person, but now that I know his weakness I dont want to exploit it...... I have to exploit it.

"Ski let me ask you this. How do you really feel about being one of earth's defenders?"

"I guess it is my responsibility to save earth. After all Piccolo chose me.."

"Wait you did not chose this life. It chose you?? It seems unfair."

"Well the others had the same deal."

"Others? Oh yes the other Earth's Defenders. Interesting people you know. I mean who knew that beyond all this dedication to saving Earth, deep down they harbor strong feelings toward one another."

Raising his eyebrow, Ski asked "How so"

"Well did you know that deep down Kelson loves Nilons? Did you know that even though he supported Zeo deep down Laos wants Zeo dead more than any of you. By the way you should really hear what some of them had said about you leaving the team to take care of your family."

With his temper flaring Ski's power level raised a little "What is that supposed to mean."

"Well it means. That the others Michio especially had a lot of rough thoughts about you leaving them."

"Such as"

"Well he seriously dissapproves of you leaving to take care of your wife and the twins. He does not respect you. He considers you a coward who is running away from a threat. At this moment the others are headed to Namic to help Kelson with something. The reason Michio did not go is he does not trust you to take care of Earth."

Ski was upset and it was playing right into my hands. Now that his ego was bruised the next step was a preparation for a confrontation. "Look I know that you want to hash this out with Michio but you know how he is. He will deny it and when pressed he will attack. Comparing both your strength levels, he will defeat you but you have the advantage of superior fighting techniques. With my help I can make you the most powerful Saiyan in existance. All you have to do is believe in me. Join with me and we will make everything right. We will protect you family from those who consider you a lesser. Join with me and your family will be protected for eternity. Join with me and you will have the power you train for. Join with me and everything you ever wanted and desired will be yours."

the now reformed Ze and Marko remembered the trip to namick with Laos, they both knew that Laos was going to try there best to defeat him, but could he.

Flash back

Zeo charged at Laos, Zeo knew that he sould be on the ofensive and that any attack would be useless or would it, "Here try this" Zeo shouted as he lept in the air "Spinning cosmic" He shouted as his body turned started to spin his body was moveing so fast a slight wind stated to pick up, His body span faster and faster. Zeo was gaining speed till he stoped and fired a massive energy balst at Laos. the energy went around him and surrounded him again Zeo's hand started to glow and a large energy blast fired straight to wards him. Zeo landed on the floor "Try that one" He said as he pointed to him and smerked

The Vision of a Dead Friend

OOC: I'm sorry this is going so long, but bear with me.

IC: I watch the ship carrying Zeo and Laos take off into the heavens with a little apprehension.

'Something wasn't right with Zeo. He seemed to be struggling even just to speak or move. I just hope Laos can handle whatever might happen.'

I give a sigh and turn around to see the wreckage left behind by Zeo and Laos' battle on the Lookout. Assessing the damage, I get to work on repairs. Even with going at a fast pace, it would take 2 days for me to finally repair it.

During one break, Mr. Popo brought some fruits and some sandwiches for me to eat for lunch. After eating my small meal, I lay back and look up at the azure sky.

'Well maybe I should meditate. I really need to get myself centered more after that whole thing that happened here over the past 36-48 hours.'

Getting into a sitting position, I sit out in the sun as I work on my Ki and refocusing myself. What happens isn't fully known. Maybe the food and the rest affected my brain, but the next thing I know I get into a deeper state than I could normally go. I see nothing but darkness around me then...a light from the corner of my eye. I turn to see it and there's a form blocking most of it.

Who is it? Who are you?

Then a familiar voice echoes through the darkness...

"I must've been gone too long Michio...you're starting to forget about your old teacher and caretaker already?"

The shock was immesureable as my Master and mentor Kazuo stepped out from the light and showed his worn face as he sat down in front of me.

It can't...be. But it is you...

"But of course baka. I told you that I would always be there to help you if need be. I'm just glad you didn't die on me after what happened in North City."

North City...that seems so long ago. Oh well. What's done is done and I can't undo what happened. I am glad though that I didn't join you so quickly, but I am wondering why are you here now in my meditation? Not to mention how are you doing this?

"Well you're doing this all yourself. You got into such a deep state of meditation that you were able to breach the barrier between the living and dead. Naturally I was drawn to your force and that's why I'm here. However, there was a bit of a pull by me to get you in this deep and there is a reason I called you here. "Yes. I know what's been going on here lately thanks to my abilities and Piccolo-sama's to a degree."

"Silence. You're babbling again and we don't have the time. Suffice it to say he's just his normal self but he his glad that you've taken over the duties of Kami until another can come. Now this is more important than that. if you're the Guardian of the Earth then you need to be prepared and know the whole history."

History of what Master?

"Your history and mine. You see, that guy Mark that you're trying to defeat...he's tried once before to get Earth, but myself and one other were able to stop him."

What? No way! When did this happen?

"SHUT UP MICHIO! I'm trying to talk as fast as I can and you're not helping me out here!"

"Ok. Now. Mark had tried to take over like I said. However he was defeated from taking over by myself and one other by the name of Saph. Saph was a...interesting guy. He did have a sort of rebellious streak in him but when the chips were down he would be there to cover your back or to help you when you got creamed. Him and I practiced for a long time, even fought each other many times in the Tenkaichi Boudacai's every few years. The last time I saw him, I got to see his newborn son...Ski"

What a minute...you mean to tell me that the same Ski I know you knew his father and in fact saw him when he was a baby? Why didn't you tell me that you had saved the planet before?

"Because it would've made you think that you had to save the world or it might've kept you from wanting to join up with Piccolo-sama when he asked you. Saph was younger than me by a few years so he was able to hold out and protect the Earth if necessary. I was getting too old to fight. Being in your 40's can do that to people.
It was then that Mark tried to take over Earth. He sent his henchmen over. Piccolo-sama let us know what was happening then Saph and myself went into action to fight them. It was getting pretty good for us, but then the battle moved from the woods to the city. More and more people were getting hurt so Saph and I went all out and killed the henchmen. Unfortunately in the process of taking them all out, buildings were being destroyed and crushing the people...including your parents"

Michio is blown away at the revelation that Kazuo has not only seen, but might've helped in the death of his parents. He was not able to speak at the moment so Kazuo continued

"Your parents were in an apartment complex. I took hold of a bad guy and kicked his head clear off his shoulders. Unfortunately when I threw his body away I didn't know that his energy weapon needed the body to regulate it. With him dead, the body became a bomb...and I had thrown the bomb towards a building that was housing you as a newborn and your parents. The building collapsed into itself and I was shocked as hell. The thought that I had caused so many innocents to suffer and die was really getting to me. I left Saph to himself as I went into the rubble to see if I could find any survivors.
One place after another there was nothing but dead and partially constructed human bodies. I almost puked at the sight. Then I heard a scream. I ran over and after picking up a small piece of debris I saw you. You were crying your eyes out after being woken up from a nap I'm guessing.
I picked you up and held you in my arms. I saw your bassinett and picked up a blue blanket to wrap you up with. It was then that I found that red book, the "Book of Saiyans." I opened it up to read it, but I could only get past the writing inside the cover..."

To our dearest Michio,
Congratulations on reaching your 14th birthday. You're now an adult and you deserve to know about your heritage. This book was written by your ancestor and it will teach you everything you want to know about your family line. We love you son and we know you'll grow up even more to be a good person.

Both our eyes were flooded with tears. All this information was held back by Kazuo for 21 years and now we both had come to a realization...we would always be Father and Son. Never Master and Student anymore. There were too much emotions flowing for us to be keeping ourselves apart like this anymore. The only sad part is that it took for him to die for this to be realized.

...alright then...what do I need to do?

"First you need to get stronger and better at fighting. You've surpassed anything I could ever do, but it still won't be enough. And second you need to keep an eye on Ski. He doesn't seem right and I'm afraid you two might have to fight each other. Just remember something: he's not himself. His insecurities and emotions are going to be running wild and I need you to make sure he doesn't die...incapacitate him if need be, but don't take his life. I swore the last time I saw Saph that you would look out for his family and he swore the same. Now time might've passed and things might've changed for him and his family, but I don't want my part of the promise to go awry and since I can't be there...I need you to do it for me Michio. Can you do this one last thing for me?"

Of course...Father. I'll do what I can but I've got a suspicion that if he and I fight, it could be too close to call on the victor. No matter what however, I'll keep your promise to Saph's family.

"Arigato, Mi-chan. Take care of yourself...son."

I will...and you too Father.

As I see the image of Kazuo disappear back into the light, I start to regain consciousness with my surroundings. I pull out of the meditation and look around me as I see nothing but blue skies.

'Sayonara, Hoto-sama'

I wipe a errant tear from my eye and get up. I work the kinks out of my legs and back and get back to doing temporary fixes to the Lookout while Mr. Popo helps me and watches. As I'm get near halfway done, the pudgy ebony man brings out a couple machines that can work on the facia of the Lookout, allowing me to resume training. I thank him and after changing into my training clothes with the weighted clothing equaling 5x Gravity over them, I start my training once again...wondering if what Kazuo said was true and that I would have to fight Ski in the near future. If it was the case, I know that I would have to better my techniques of fighting as well as get stronger.

'I just hope that that day never comes, father.'

Laos

Laos smiled grimly as the ball hurtled towards him, eager to take up Zeo's challenge. He crossed his arms across his chest, staring intently at the ball of energy, concentrating on it with all he had. The ball struck him, and he was knocked back a step or two, but his defense held strong. He gave a yell and closed his eyes as the ball's energy ran over him like an intense heat, but it lasted for no more than a few moments, when it dissapated. Laos opened his eyes to see Zeo, the man's face a bit shocked. Obviously he had expected the move to be a bit more successful. Laos relaxed from his defensive position, dusting off his clothes and looking at a few rips in his clothing, all that the attack had managed to do.
"I'm tougher than you thought, Zeo." he said simply, before attacking himself, punches and kicks flying. After a moment of this, with no successful hits, Laos dodged a counter-attack, jumping and flipping into the air, extending his hands before him and firing off two quick energy blasts from either palm as he hovered in the air.

Zeo didnt really think ne one could dodge that energy blast letalone let it hit them and do hardly nething he smiled just then Laos fired to energy blasts at Zeo, Zeo wasnt playing around now he knocked the two energy blasts away "This is no time to play games i know you have more energy then that" Zeo shouted Zeo flew into the air "COOOSSSSMMMMMMICCCCCCC DIIIISSSSTRRRROOOOYERRRR" Zeo shouted his hands went back and formed a powerful energy ball he thrusted his hands forward and let it go, the beam was intense and it went straight for Laos "Dodge that one if you can?" Zeo shouted

Laos

Laos' smile faded as he saw Zeo's next blast coming straight for him. He threw his body to the left, strafing in the air with all the speed he could muster. He managed to get out of the way of most of the blast, but the edge just caught him, and he was sent careening into the side of the room. He sat up slowly, before managing to bring himself to a standing position, debris falling off of him. He shook his arms a little, before flexing them.
"Not bad, not bad." Laos told Zeo. "Maybe I'll show you some of my true power."
Laos lowered himself into a combat pose, letting forth a scream. The air around him started to waver as his energy level shot upwards.
"You're gonna regret pushing me this far, Zeo!" he yelled out, before his hands formed together and, clenched together, went behind his back.
"Ka.... me... ha.... me...." Laos' normal grin found it's way to his face again, even as a little blood trickled from his lip, as he stared into Zeo's eyes.
"HA!!!!!!!!!!" he screamed out, thrusting his hands forward as he released the huge beam at Zeo.
It was good, but it wasn't all he had, that was for sure.

John: Waking up on namek

I wake up with a really pounding headache. I can barley see anything but i can tell i am not in space anymore. I grab the first aid kit and rap up the cut on my head and start hunting for my survival gear. It then comes to me that the other ship might have crashed too. I grab everything and head outside. Weird thing is the door is open and they are designed not to open on impact. Well I look around and notice a steady stream of smoke. I grab my capsule kit and grab the car capsule. I throw it on the ground and get in. I figure I will go see if anybody is alive. I reach the wreck in no time. I peek inside but thier is nobody there. But for some reason the equipment seems familar. Well I figure since there is food left behind the person will be back.
