Certainly Dr. Fauci:

  • has an agenda that is becoming more obvious by the day
  • has a big ego (obviously loves this period of attention and seeks more of it)
  • has possibly made very poor decisions in the virus research arena
  • has stepped far outside of his role in an attempt to decide policy

He had a role to fill. He filled it (whether capably or not). Now he needs to step aside back into anonymity as much as possible.

Calling him "pure fucking garbage" is the type of rhetoric that makes him a victim when, instead, Dr. Fauci should be under reasoned scrutiny.

Ironically all but the 4th statement directly apply to Trump.

Trump stepped away from his role in an attempt to save his face.

This is a solid counter point. I think he has more influence and opportunity to profit than a man in his position should. Not that I'm anti capitalism, but I'm learning that he has pulled some strings that paint him in a rather poor light!!
