Dr. Ben Carson is.....

Unqualified? I have seen more stupid than I care to admit. Is your reaction to my opinion because you care so deeply about Dr. Carson, or are you just bored?

Haha, so fitting. I call you out for your post, and you think it's not about you.

Carson just wants to sell more books. Books he should have known would be gone over with a fine tooth comb if he anyone took his race seriously. I don't think he ever saw himself as a front runner. Oooops

I don't take this Porn Board very seriously, and you don't know me. So tell me about me Oh Swami.

In the mean time:

Ben Carson is popular because he helps racist whites continue to hide from their racism

These are not statements befitting a serious candidate. Why are such views tolerated by the overwhelmingly white GOP from a black candidate? Remember: only 11% of blacks identify as Republican.

The answer, in my view, is simple: he’s a token.

The Republican Party is the party of white folks: 89% of the GOP identifies as white. By serving as tokens, Carson and other black Republican candidates allow racist whites to continue to hide from their racism.

Trevor Noah exposes how badly Ben Carson misunderstands foreign policy — and it’s awesome

Trevor Noah wasn’t buying Ben Carson’s attempts to distance himself from a former foreign policy advisor on Wednesday’s Daily Show.

Carson had tried to claim that Duane Clarridge was not his advisor after Clarridge told the New York Times that the candidate was unable to retain “one iota of intelligent information about the Middle East” despite weekly policy briefings.

“He is a person who has come in on a couple of our sessions to offer his opinions about what was going on,” the former neurosurgeon said in a Nov. 17 interview.

“So, an advisor?” a skeptical Noah said, before impersonating Carson trying the same rhetorical trick: “‘I don’t think of myself as a surgeon; I’m just a guy people pay to stab their brain until they’re healthy.'”

I'll bet Jon is laughing, that Trevor has inherited the Clown Car.

Thats good, BTW do you have any maps of Obama's 57 State US?

It's a funny mistake but mistake nonetheless. I'm genuinely curious how you fuck up a map of the United States. Like no, I could not draw one any better from memory but I would start by not trying. I'd google United States and take the first one that popped up and guess what? I'd get it right. What exactly even happened here?

I figure they were using some graphics program to do some manipulation and fucked it up.
But how the hell do you not even notice it?

This guy does a decent job.

Dear Jesus fuck that guy. I couldn't do that well with an example to copy from.

I actually doubt that Obama knows how many states are in the US. It is of no real importance to him.

Good ole BO has plenty of mistakes and fuck ups. How do you fuck up reading from a teleprompter? He has done it so many times, it's his stique.

You're cute. But guarantee that he does. And it of no real importance to anybody, it's just a factoid. Of little more worth than what were the colors of the original power rangers.

First those are not remotely the same. Carson pretty much had to go out of his way to fuck this up and I'm genuinely curious as to how this happened and where he got that map cus it may somehow be relevant.

How do you fuck up reading from a teleprompter? Easy, the most likely answer is that the teleprompter is incorrect. It happens. I'm curious what you mean by he has done it so many times, by what measure exactly?

My theory is that Obama can actually read. And as a result with the teleprompter he just shuts his brain off and reads whatever is in front of him. No thought goes into it just say the words and go on. As opposed to Bush who apparently needs to try and read and as a result had lots of weird goofs.

By contrast Obama is terrible without his teleprompter. He immediately shuffles into 'uhs' and long pauses while he tries to think how best to phrase this or that. IT doesn't come naturally for him like it does for Hillary who's had decades of practice. Nor does he feel comfortable with it like Bush. Whatever his faults were Bush off the cuff was always quality.

I really doubt Carson was the one who did the map. One of his minions I'm sure.
I read just recently about a president, I can't remember who it was, saying to another that reading off a teleprompter isn't as easy as it sounds and requires a certain ability that not everyone has.
Also, apparently Bush is dyslexic and that caused him problems with the teleprompter.

If the media was in my face 10 hours a day I would eventually say something stupid too. I wouldn't refer to the Egyptian pyramids as ancient grain elevators, but I'd come up with something stupid.

I'm of the opinion that the vast majority of what he says is quite intelligent. I think he is a very smart man quite capable of leading this great nation.

Trump says a lot of stupid things that the mouth breathers eat up. Though, when it comes to getting off the couch to vote, yeah not so much.

Even in this deluge of media scrutiny and vetting, Carson has continued to raise campaign funds. Clearly, many people support him and are putting their financial backing behind him.

Well, he managed to say something stupid today. He equated Syrian refugees with rabid dogs.

Of course people continue to support him. We have bunches and bunches of not very bright people in the United States and their gadgets are making them dumber by the day.

I actually doubt that Obama knows how many states are in the US. It is of no real importance to him.

You mean Harvard Law School grad and professor at the Chicago School of Law for eight years Barack Obama?

If anyone connected with your post isn't too bright, it's not likely to be Barack Obama. Now, you probably have him (and me and a lot of folks) on blind hatred.

Agree.

That doesn't really change the crux of my question just the target. Lets say for the sake of argument that Carson only glanced at it and it's close enough that it didn't set off any alarms. That sounds plausible to me, hell while it looked off to me I had to see a side by side to know what was actually wrong. BUT I still want to know where the fuck you get wrong US map from and how. This isn't a geography goof like that famous Fox New pic where they mislabled Iraq or Iran. (That's a stupid gaffe someone should have caught I but I understand how you make that mistake.) I do not understand.

Has it really been THAT long since you were either in some situation where people had to read? I mean no going to church and reading from the Bible, no school, no business meetings with people giving presentations? It's VERY easy to stumble reading just regular stuff, lose your place, think that something should follow this that doesn't, start thinking about it and think this doesn't make sense and try to unfuck it on the fly. These things happen to the best of us.

That's specifically why I bring up Obama's famous Corpsemen scenario. Given how corpsman is spelled the obvious answer is he was just reading and forgot that word is not spell phonetically. Gaffe? Hell yeah. But easily explained.

If the media was in my face 10 hours a day I would eventually say something stupid too. I wouldn't refer to the Egyptian pyramids as ancient grain elevators, but I'd come up with something stupid.

I would to. But there are degrees of stupid and degrees of uniformed. The pyramids thing is a very special kind of stupid not to be held up next to how to spell potato, pronounce nuclear or what's the capital of Hungary.

I don't think he is capable of leading us and I find it terrifying that his lack of political background isn't an automatic disqualifier if not legally certainly from actual consideration.

Ben Carson pretty much only says stupid shit. Going to prison makes you gay, pyramids built to hold grain, raising minimum wage increases unemployment. You know what pause there.

That is one of the stupid things a lot of people would say and could and should be forgiven. It's factually wrong but economics 101 says it must be true . Anybody could be escused for making that guess. What isn't excusable is not clarifying after someone has pointed the error out to you and it's impossible that NOBODY has sat him down yet and told him that's simply not true.

Ben Carson is clearly brilliant. You don't get to be the head of pediatric neurosurgery at John Hopkins for being anything but the elite of the elite. You don't create a brand new surgical procedure and accomplish something that has never been done before without being the best of the best of the best. This is beyond refute. That doesn't make you a politician however and only a politician should be leading the country.

Yes, people are putting their funding behind him. Given the "not" fundraisers that Trump is throwing clearly being a good candidate is not the same as getting money. Hell given that you think Carson could lead the country well I have to assume you think Hillary and/or Sanders would be unmitigated disasters but both of them are gathering up lots of money.

Hell does Jersey Shore and American Idol not clearly demonstrate that generates money=/= good?
