Alex Jones recently stated that the US military is going to go door-to-door forcibly confiscating people's legally-owned firearms. Refusal to surrender your weapons will result in imprisonment.
During hurricane Katrina, the US military performed house to house weapon seizures of law-abiding citizens who were trying to protect themselves and their families against roving bands of looters. Alex Jones said that this was a training exercise for what they're going to be doing on a much larger scale.
The US government, particularly FEMA, is preparing to declare martial law on a national scale, and use the military domestically during a COG (continuity of government) national security emergency. He stated that after the global economy utterly collapses, tanks and troops will be walking our streets in order to maintain order and for "crowd control" purposes..
They have the authorization to use deadly force against anyone who attempts to take up arms against them. Expect mass-arrests of any and all protestors and political dissidents until the emergency laws have been lifted.
According to declassified pentagon documents, these types of COG programs were only meant to be used in the event of nuclear attack/chemical/biological or should nuclear war ever break out. But apparently economic collapse has been added the potential uses of these programs.

Apparently hundreds of billions of dollars have been dumped into secret continuity of government programs of government since 2001.
According to people who have read these documents, should these programs ever actually be implemented, a new constitution would be drafted and it would permanently transform the United States of America into a very undemocratic military dictatorship.
The entire country would basically be one giant military camp.
