I'm now realizing that I'm hungry as all hell....lol

Days off. Come to France

Last Wednesday was May Day
tomorrow is Armistace day, Thursday is AScension Thursday
Friday is a "pont" = a bridge - an isolated work day, therefore cancelled for most schools etc. and then its the weekend.

There is no French equivalent of Lit that I know of either, so they plany a lot of onions.

On my last day off I missed my brother's graduation because the night before I walked to a strip club (gotta aviod those DWI's) and hung out till the place closed. I was so drunk I got lost trying to make my way home and ended up walking around in circles in some small town that I'd never even heard of. By the time the sun came up I was still lost but I bought a $10 bicycle at some garage sale which helped me retrace the many miles that I'd just spent all night covering on foot. Fortunately I made my way home just in time to squeeze in just under four hours of sleep before putting in a fourteen hour shift at work. My next day off is tomorrow and I fully expect to go back to the club but hopefully without any unnecessary exercise or sightseeing.

If/when you do go out for breakfast, Four & 20 on Laurel Canyon is good....so is Dupar's on Ventura at Laurel. Art's Deli (not Jerry's) on Ventura is recommended...and if you're ever on the Westside in the morning, I HIGHLY recommend Maxwell's Cafe on Washington Blvd - It's west of the 405 on the north side of the street...a few blocks before all of the condos at the Marina.....

For mexican food, I usually go to Poquito Mas, if going by myself for take out or with a buddy. On a date, I like Don Cuco's on Riverside in Burbank. Now I'll have to check the menu for chilaquiles!!

I never go to Jerrys Deli they're over-rated & over-priced.

But if you want good Mex. food go to Casa Vega on Ventura & Fulton. They're the closest to the real thing that I've had. & I'm super picky. It's cool very atmospheric you can go with friends & hang out @ the bar, or just go to eat.
