Don't know if item is published

Submitted my first story by uploading a document. It showed pending, then said published. When I click on it, it says NOT FOUND ERROR 404. I edited the item and cut paste as a draft and submitted again. The draft is still there, and I don't knw the status. Is there anyway to find out if it will post or can I just cancel everything and start all over again.

Below the tagline and above the "Published" label, there should be a date, probably tomorrow or the day after. That's when the story will actually be published.

@vegasmarrriedmike You can tell that your story is in this "imminent publication" state if it has the NEW label as well as PUBLISHED.

There should be a date above the pending published tags that is the date that it'll go live. Until then you will get a 404 error

Sounds like it was probably going to go live tomorrow, but since you re-submitted it, you have reset the clock and it will have to go through the approval process again. Next time, as the others have said, check the publication date to see when to expect it to be available. More generalized advice: be patient! Lit tends to move slowly, so if you want to keep writing here, expect delays!
