another suggestion as to how to start a simple stroke story.

He & She are university freshmen, but grew up together. She labelled him with the dread "Just friends" in grade 6...

as unusual as it is, they decided to be roomies in the coed rez. She remains the "popular girl".

The night the story takes place, she comes home much earlier than usual... crying. He consoles her...

they both enjoy "le petit mort" as the French might say... at the "climax" of the story of course

I assume Story Idea readers are familiar with the forum slang of "stroke story" to refer to stories written primarily for one handed readers more interested in tales with abundant amounts of inspirational graphic descriptions of sex, with minimal time "wasted" on plot or character development. At one time, I wrote some. I seem to have lost the knack.

in a Lit story that started with the naive virginal 18 year old you were humping the couch, you'd reply to Mom: " Don't do what Mom?"

Mom would blush, realize that finally, she could avoid the 'birds and bees' talk no longer.

After that, would depend if you were writing lesbian incest (mom/daughter) or whether there was going to be a male recruited as part of the demonstration... which could branch off in several directions.

So, I actually started a stroke story, but I guess I don't know how detailed to get. Is it like,

"Don't cry"

"Ok, let's fuck"

Or should there be a little more to it?

It's a shame to see people trying to turn real story ideas into a BS thread with their replies that are only funny to themselves.

This idea has good potential. Having someone console another could happen in a number of story lines with a number of parings. (Ie: A brother and sister. Old friends that realize through the story that something has kindled.)

I hope to see others offer up real ideas. This story could go places.

Well, actually I was serious (for once). I really have started a stroke story. I really don't know how detailed to get. I personally dislike stories that read like porn films: "Hello" "Let's Fuck."

On the other hand, if you are expecting a stroke story, I mean I can go on and on with my usual blather about this and that and the guy would be out of hand cream and time before anything happened.

Like, my first try, I got ready to post it, and *poof* the site timed out on me. I had to log back in and I lost everything I had written. Then I realized it was probably way too long anyway.

So I'm pretty discouraged...
