Don't Bite the Hand That Feeds You

Now isn't that just a little drastic? There's always a second hand as a back-up.
 
I was listening to NPR this morning.

Al Franken said that he is qualified to give advice because he is neither a complete failure or an enormous success.

I qualify too.
 
On the topic of life's lessons, and totally unrelated to the rest of the thread... I've learned that in the long run, you get back from people what you put out.

My dharma has lagged recently. I need to look at that.

Very true, although when I put out, there is often some biting involved.
