Well it’s a bit tricky, this is my actual first knitting project aside from some swatching. I have a bit of crochet experience but not a ton.

I took the original lifeline out which was dumb, lesson learned, and then began knitting in the round facing the wrong way. When I went to backtrack, the increases along the arm just… fell apart.



I’ve put everything I can on lifelines, I think. I’m seeing family for Easter soon and I think they’ll be able to help me, but yea.



I’m following this tutorial and have purchased this pattern on Ravelry.

I don't think there is anything here that cannot be recovered/fixed. Good job with the life line.
The trick here is to figure out where you currently are in the knitting relative to the decreases. I could prolly figure it out if you came over and we sat on the couch and got it sorted.
That is to say, you need to find a knitter that will sit with you and sort it. Might get some help from a local yarn store (especially if you have bought yarn there). My local yarn store has an open knitting circle- stitch and bitch/help. Yours may have one too.

Good luck - I know you can do it. Your knitting looks great.

One more thing...
You've got your sleeve stitches all on a length of yarn. That's great. It'll be important to know how many stitches you have. That'll be the first thing anyone will need to know to locate where you are in your pattern.

Progress on sleeve city, I’m sort of just winging it now which might not be the best plan but I’m keeping track of my stitches and rows, so hopefully I can replicate on the other arm once she’s back on track.

I’m hoping this will fit my nephew, I’ve put it on him a few times and it’s a bit oversized, but maybe by next fall?

I’m going to knit a few more rows of the cream and then transition to the ribbing colour for the cuffs. I hope I have enough yarn

The yarn is JoAnn's Big Twist Living yarn. I think that the asexual Pride yarn is in colorway Community.

Righto. So. First time buying “hanks”. Right. I need a yarn spinner, right. Another lesson.

I’m starting my next project today, basic but pretty - the Sophie Shawl. I think. I think I got the right yarn? I asked for help at my LYS (local yarn store) but we had to make some substitutions.
