I find a great gift is to handwrite out all of the things which you appreciate and love about them, then go to dinner and while waiting for the main course to come hand it to her so she can read it.

Before you leave for the resturant have her get in the car then take her present out of the closet and put it right there by the door. When you come home let her go in first to find it sitting there waiting for her.

We tend to treat birthdays much the same as anyone else. SM and D/s are a part of our lives on a daily basis alongside living life in the way everyone else does such as work, families paying bills, grocery shopping....birthdays....occasionally he may give me the choice of what type pain I would prefer or by what means it is delivered as a sign it is my birthday, but he also is just as inclined to buy something he knows I want or would enjoy, and either cook dinner, get take away, or go to dinner. LOL, we are not much for going into overdrive over such things.

I took M out for dinner and I caved in to a weekend in nudist camp, on my dime - the idea of which had all the appeal of cleaning my venetian blinds at the time - he loves nude recreation etc and the woods, which I generally dislike.

I found it relaxing all said and done, and he had a great birthday. What better present can a princess like me give than sucking up and doing something just 'cause *he* likes it for a change?

That writing out thing would be more than gift enough for me! Sadly most men would rather get a blender or jewelry or something than think and write such a thing.

Yesterday was my birthday too. i don't belong to anyone anymore but a Dom that i know in my area gave me a nice gift. He used some of His fancy toys on me and He f***ed me long and hard. *mind wanders* Mmmm...memories. It was a gift in so many ways. i don't even think He even realizes it. It allowed me to let go of and forget about everything that is going on in my life right now. It was the best gift someone could give me right now.

and for His birthday, of course, He'll be here, with me, well not until like 6:00 in the evening, but He'll be here anyway *grins* it's something He's wanted since we started talking about meeting. the original plan was for me to be collared on His birthday, it didn't work out that way...but He's finally getting His birthday wish to be with me on His special day and i cannot wait!!
