As a teaser, I may have a new AV in a month or so. I'm growing a goatie, janey says it makes me look evil. It needs to fill in a LOT more before I take a pic with it, but it's coming.

I'm thinking the pic will be a 3/4 left side shot, me in a muscle shirt so I'm showing off the ink, sitting in a chair turned around backwards so I can drape my paws off the front, with my head turned to look in the camera so you get the full face.

I'll add the mini-version as an av, crop the hands and post here, crop the face and post in the Face thread.... *LOL*

Okay, here's one that I used the green screen to advantage. I removed the green background, replaced it with black and adjusted the color balance and contrast.

Shows one of my tats too... hahahaha tattoo..tats too.... Get it?

There is a wonderful scene the 1990 movie Mountains of the Moon. The movie is about the mid-1800’s explorations of two British officers in Africa. The scene I love is when Burton, now an old man, meets the also old Livingstone. When finely alone these two start taking off clothing to compare scars that they had received on their adventures.

At about that time I was coming to terms with a huge scar on my leg from surgery to graph a burn. I was also struck with all the emotional scars we carry – and here were two old farts asking to see the others battle marks.

As I write this I know there is a great deal of Eurocentric BS in the old “we will discover” for the white British world stuff endogenous peoples know about for centuries. The “explores” of the old world reeked havoc on many a people. And Mountains of the Moon is not politically correct in those terms. But I was sure moved by that scene.

I will add my scars to that thread as soon as you start it, dear Sister Rebecca.

Hello Rebecca if you should start such a thread I could contribute quite well , because I have a new brand set of scars on my knee due to my recent leg fracture surgery
