The Duluth Model of Domestic Violence Power and Control Wheel
These are all documented and cited facts from non-MRA, non-conservative sources, showing feminists wielding their institutional power to define domestic violence as something only men do. As you can see from the Duluth Model's own website, there is no such thing as abuse by women in the feminist-designed Power and Control wheel. There is absolutely no concept of violent women portrayed in the Duluth Model of Domestic Violence. The Duluth Model is the de facto law of the land. Sexism plus legal force equals institutional discrimination... by feminism's own definition.
Feminism as it is practiced in America is not about equal rights. It is only about privileges for women. It is about the absolute dismissal of female perpetrators and male victims. Feminists blame the Patriarchy for dismissing male victims but here you can see feminists are actively doing dismissing male victims.
Also take note that because this Power and Control wheel does not include women perpetrators, it also completely ignores lesbian domestic violence in which women are hurt by their women partners as often (proportionally speaking) as women are hurt by their male partners. Take note that even women’s groups recognize that feminists never want to discuss this openly. This means that women battered by their female partners.. get erased from the national dialog because if they get their time in the limelight, women stand to lose their “gentler, nurturing, victim sex” status. And so thanks to feminism, the beat literally goes on.
Feminists, please stop blaming the Patriarchy for the bigotry you clearly promote. And it's time to realize that this institutionalized sexism and misandry, enshrined by the Duluth Model of Domestic Violence, also hurts women by marginalizing male AND female victims of female abusers.
