Dom "speak"

His even more favorite one is leaning over during a spanking and whispering in your ear...."how much more can you hurt for Sir?"....it just makes you want to take all the pain he wants to give......

YES! YES! YES! YES!!

THIS! THIS! THIS! THIS! THIS!

Oh my god....I just love it.

and I love "Are you going to be a Good little slut for Sir?" It's hot but I tell you, It almost blows the whole "You dont get to cum till I say" thing right out of the water, I almost cant help myself  :D

Hey Scraggles....I think VixJohn gets it now.....hehe

Hmm

I've been doing the online thing for a few decades now and I've seen this kind of thing before. BBSes, IRC, and other sorts of online chat that's been taken from online to real life. The general consensus of the online communities is that if a person logs onto chat with a 'master' or 'dom' preceding their name or as their name in it's entirety then the chances are they it's quite positive they really want to be but they're not.

It isn't a case of them being 'wanna bes' but it's more of a case raging from wanna be behavior to a level in between. However. Referring to one's self in the third person is most often considered 'Slave Speak.' This is especially popular in the various Gorean communities around the internet and before.

It comes from a Kajira basically doing the suck up routine when she's feeling especially perky, frisky and or wants something from her owner. "Girl really likes candy, Master." would be an example.

I think we've described how he does it....and it's not at all like you just mentioned. He also doesn't use the term "master" or "dom" when making introductions or via email when chatting with someone new. In his first email to me he described himself as an "aggressive" male. He isn't a "wanna be"....he is the real thing.

I know

Oh don't get me wrong. I was just making an observation. I'm also not accusing him of being a 'wanna be'

The point I'm trying to make is that in the online community where an 'actual' dominant or 'master' wouldn't need the advertisement in his name stating that he is one. He'd do so just by the air of his presence. You dominant wouldn't need to refer to himself in third person by calling himself 'sir'

He'd have you do it for him.

I understand what you mean. The main reason I contacted Scraggles on this forum was because she posted a problem concerning an online Dom she had been involved with. Being a newbie, I figued she would be better served by a in person and REAL Dom so I asked where she was located, then proceded to arrange the introduction with this Dom. I don't understand/appreciate the online thing and knew that he wasn't into it either so I'm just glad it has worked out for Scraggles...

Indeed

It definitely sounds like it's worked out or more over working out. As I've seen there isn't a protocol that's used that licenses a person to be considered a dominant, define a submissive or secure a slave based on a certain 'speak'. It's more of a built up two way street where there's an understanding and communication of those involved, and pretty much like any 'vanilla' relationship there can be a plethora of varities.

your dom friend does sound very hot, but I get what OhCrap is saying. I've met pyls who talk in the third person. They come across a bit like Smeagol/Gollum.

It's not my thing but more power to you if it rocks your world. Generally, I find the whole idea of referrring to oneself in the third person kind of silly. Ex: "The Situation" on The Jersey Shore. LOL

i SO get it!

My RL Owner prefers to be called Daddy and he knows EXACTLY when to use the term to refer to himself (or me/my body parts - Daddy's _____ ) and make me weak in the knees and melt into a puddle of submissiveness! :cathappy:

Yes when used in that manner as objectified possession it can have a very powerful intoxicating effect. Used as a method of communication during 'play' it can be quite a positive thing. However keep in mind there is a very large gap between being dominant and being chauvinistic.
