The Justice Department (DOJ) is investigating the apparent leak of classified documents on multiple social media websites that potentially detail information about U.S. and NATO aid to Ukraine.

The Defense Department is also reviewing the documents after they were shared by Russian sources online on sites like Twitter. The documents, which are dated March or earlier this year, do not appear to include any major plans for the expected Ukrainian counteroffensive this spring, but they do seem to discuss Ukrainian training, munition expenditures and estimated casualties from both sides of the war.

Everything of intelligence value in them has probably already been adjusted for. We know this had to be a high-level leak as Top Secret DOD info was released. The question is, why and by whom? You should be worried about Joe Biden, he destroys everything he touches. If you want to see Russian nuclear warheads detonating in the Western Hemisphere just keep enabling people like Joe Biden and Victoria Nuland. I wouldn't give a hoot in hell if Putin dropped dead tomorrow. I wish he would, but Russia has been led by such despots since they were ruled by the Mongols and they've always been prone to crazy shit and they'll sacrifice millions of their people in that pursuit, more than any Western country or Ukraine would tolerate. It isn't wise to put that kind of mentality in a box where it has nowhere to go. This war will end in a negotiation or everything of value in Ukraine will be completely destroyed and we could find ourselves in a ground war in Europe that will put our hemisphere at risk.

Investigators are focusing on a young member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard as the key suspect in the leak of hundreds of pages of classified military intelligence to an online group of young friends — secrets that later spilled out into the wider world in a series of embarrassing disclosures last week — according to multiple people familiar with the matter.

The people familiar with the case, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said Thursday morning that the individual, Jack Teixeira, has not been charged or arrested in the matter while investigators continue to gather evidence. The Washington Post reported Wednesday that the individual who leaked the information shared documents with a small circle of online friends on the Discord chat platform, which is popular with gamers. In that group, these people said, Teixeira’s handle was jackthedripper.

Teixeira told members of the online group Thug Shaker Central that he worked as a technology support staffer for the Massachusetts Air National Guard and at a base on Cape Cod, and this was how he was able to access classified documents, one member of the Discord server told The Post.

A Facebook post from the 102nd Intelligence Wing, with headquarters at Otis Air National Guard Base on Cape Cod, congratulated an individual by the same name for his promotion to airman first class in July.
