Okay, this first brings to mind a TTRPG that I used to play quite a lot of, called Rifts by Palladium games. It was a very elaborate dystopian game that included mutants of all sorts, both natural and created. Among the created were dogboys that were used as specialized troops by the Coalition States (evil empire and yes, they are very fond of the skull motif).
Perhaps a female CS officer is put in charge of a squad of dogboys and due to their doglike nature and loyalty they all fall in love with her, and she's learned just how good those tongues can feel once you peel that armor off at the end of the mission. "Who's mama's good boy? Make mama cum and it's treats for everyone!" Lots of wagging tails.

Thing is with dog boys, I mostly see them in BL.

So I guess I’ll start with that genre:

Human guy and dog boy grew up together. Dog Boy is pretty popular with the ladies but he really likes hanging out with MC.

MC asks him for tips on picking up women and DB just chuckles and says he can smell when a woman is in heat and then he makes his move. MC laughs: human women don’t go into heat. DB says maybe not biologically but they do…and not just the women.

MC then asks what the smell is like and DB runs his hand under MC’s shirt and then raises it to his nose.

“this but in about 5 minutes” and then kisses him.

For straight though:

Woman and her dogboy boyfriend keep getting into awkward situations in front of people.

For example: she’s making sandwiches and accidentally drops a spoon full of peanut butter. He catches it in his mouth and she says: “Damn you licked all that peanut butter right up!”

Right as their room mate walks in the door and sees him kneeling in front of her.

Woman and her dogboy boyfriend have been dating for a while but they haven’t had sex yet. Dogboy admits he’s nervous as he’s never had sex with a human woman before,

So she decides to get some fake ears, paw mittens and and a buttplug tail.

“Surprise! …oh god am I being offensive?”

“…honestly yeah…but it’s also kinda working for me”

And since you gave me the idea, how about we start with a daddy daughter story?

Dog boy found a bunch of catgirls who had been abandoned and took them into raise them. They all grew into fine young women but being raised by a dog gave them a different outlook on life so people trying to hook up with them have the wrong expectations.

Meanwhile dog dad has trouble hooking up as the dog girls in town smell all the grown catgirls on him and have the wrong idea.

It all comes to a head when one of his grown daughters goes into heat and her favorite toy breaks. Dad can’t help but smell her desperation and he gets an erection.

So of course they agree it’s wrong so they’ll only do it when they go into heat…but of course the other girls shouldn’t be left out…and then maybe one of the girls say they were in heat but they weren’t and soon everyone is fucking all the time

On the flipside: cat mom rescues some dog boys. Now they find other dog boys but cat mom still loves them to bits. When they are grown, she doesn’t get why they don’t want to cuddle with her like they used to as she and her family have always been cuddling and sleeping together.

Dog boys agree to cuddle with her but feeling her up against them gets them hard. Cat mom figures it out and instead of being horrified, she just slips off her clothes and says if that’s what it takes to keep cuddling with her warm sons she’s okay with it
