Morning (((witchie)))

I had a male midwife for my first....and his first view of me as he came through the curtain was my bare arse up in the air as I was kneeling on the bed throwing up....so after that there was no need to be embarrassed about anything

The only thing that I remember is he had MASSIVE hands  Other than that, no different to a female midwife.... :D

Yeah, amazing what makes you smile later.

I went in by taxi for my last one, course being number 3 I was an old hand, was 8 cms dilated by the time I got to the hospital, never been in a taxi driven so fast.
The driver kept asking my husband.... " is she ok ????? " in a very worried voice :D

Think it was all the swearing just before a contraction, which since they were around every 3 mins was a lot of contractions

ROFL....he was just imagining having to deliver you in the back of the cab.....back in the days when they couldn't charge for you making a mess :D

I had my second at home so didn't have any of that....had the baby in the spare room, went for a bath while the midwives tidied up and then went back to my own bed....sorted :D

Sod that... I'm so little they had to stitch me back up each time... first time they missed a vein or something... had to have 5 pints of blood and stay in an extra week

Well after my first I was determined NOT to have the second in hospital....had to go in a week early because of high blood pressure, they induced me after 6 days because I threatened to go home if they didn't....but the induction set off my labour wrong, I was bearing down within an hour and not dilated, and that went on for 12 hours....drugged to the eyeballs, they put me on a drip, had to do an episiotomy and ventouse delivery, the doc stitched me up badly, baby had jaundice, I had remnants of the placenta left inside and couldn't go home for another week....catalogue of disasters

Second baby, went into labour at 9pm, no pain relief, went upstairs at 1am and had her at 1.45. Easy peasy. I tore a little, no stitches, and the damage they'd caused stitching me up the first time repaired naturally and I was back to normal again.... :D

Yo, where is the delectable, nubile neanderthal ...........
.

Witcheeeeeeeeeeee

Good afternoon my precious Princess ....... XXXXXXXXXXX :rose:
