Does "Shock-and-Awe" = "Shechinah"?

"Shechinah" - (feminine); the Divine Presence;

The Shechinah was said to have appeared to Moses in the burning bush. The Shechinah also descended in the pillar of smoke and fire that guided the Israelites through their exodus from Egypt.

The Talmud teaches that the Shechinah is everywhere. Observing Jews believe the Shechinah descends each Friday at sunset to transform each Jewish home during the Sabbath.

Question: Is the US proposed attack of Iraq labelled "Shock-and-Awe" meant to invoke this Divine Presence of the Jewish faith to the people of Iraq? Is its homonym similarity intentional or coincidental?

As I noted in another thread, today They started saying "Regime change and dismantlement." instead of "Dismantling and regime change."

The 82nd Airborne is over there too....anybody heard their whereabouts on any american networks yet?? (nope)

Any "embedded" reporters with them?? (nope)

They're in western Iraq taking out scud batteries that can reach Israel as we speak.....once that's finished....

Then and only then will you see Shocknawe....Friday at dusk , Israeli time.

So....I vote "Intentional."

Every detail is premeditated. As it should be.

Who says there's no Zionism involved in this ?

Nice work, Hobbit Phrodeau Lee!

Interesting that they're the only unit getting zero coverage...the US media won't report on them. Why?

You can hear about their movements on Canadian tv....

Dan Rather intorduced his field reporter as being "embedded" with a US unit.

"Dan, I'm not embedded with this unit."

But, Dan keeps saying it, and after about four denials, the reporter just started ignoring it! So he's embedded now!

:D :D :D

Probably because the Canucks are not very popular with 70% of America because of their constant harping and critisicm coupled with open borders and an absolute disdain for American security.

Once the shooting starts and our loved ones are in harm's way, the "You're either agaisnt us or with us," mentality really gets strong and Canada HAS NOT BEEN WITH US!

The reporters on BBC and SKY News often combine "Shock and Awe" into one word.

It sounds very odd.

"Shock and awe" and "Embedded" are the catch phrases to come out of this war so far.

"Shock and Awe"?

And all this time I thought the name of the operation was "Shocinaw" in honor of a particularly fearsome native American tribe from the southeastern corner of present-day Georgia.

"Shock and Awe", eh?
