He's a reader and posts comments on stories and would like to hear back from the authors, hence the user id with no posts in the forums.

Not sure, but it looks like the author not only deleted the original name, but also a replacement.

As the poster is now registered as "guest" that means that he/she requested that Laurel delete everything on the forum.
Stories under that second name still appear to exist:

I've also located the title you mention, and a bug that I need to report to Manu at the same time:

The title still exists within the series listings, but the link goes nowhere. That seems to confirm that the author is one and the same.
Unfortunately, I can find no references to either author name or the title except on Literotica. You might try contacting the author through the second name linked here, as the profile was updated in Sept. of 2010. Almost a year, but it's about the best shot you've got.

It says I joined in 2009 but my first story was posted on 5/13/2010 and my first post in the forum's was also that summer.
Reason? I had just started writing and joined in 2009 to start trying to post. However, I read several stories, realized I needed a lot more polishing and went back to the drawing board for awhile. also had some real life shit come up so it was a year later before I posted. Not everyone is an alt or a conspiracy.

He seemed sincere and I didn't take him for an alt or conspiracy at all. Just found it interesting the difference between the join and post dates.
Stuff like that on the AH is believable, on the GB it is rightly suspected to be an alt or conspiracy!
Seriously, good for you for pulling back and rebooting, especially in the face of personal stuff.

Pro-tip for anyone trying to find a story or author name with Google: use the word "erotic" in conjunction with what you're searching for. It eliminates a lot of stuff that's useless in your search. This is especially true with anything that resembles a real name. You're going to have to wade through mountains of worthless social networking site hits to people posting what they had for breakfast that morning otherwise. The high google ranking of such sites means that they'll always be cluttering up the first several pages of your results.
It's also a good idea to limit the search at first with the site:literotica.com operator. That should hit with anything on the Lit servers, which is how I located the alternate name through the forum post.
Once you've mined anything you can from Lit, then you can remove the operator and start delving into the wider web -- perhaps with some tighter search terms gleaned through your Lit-only research.
