I have met someone on here, I met a lady a cple hrs from me.. We spent time together, dated, ect. Became good friends. Still are, however, circumstances prevent us from being together. Just thought I'd let you know! YES, it does happen.

Well if all ya newbies stopped hangin out here and made friends on the general board or one of the other boards, you'd be more likely to meet new people. I met my gf on here and she moved from the states to canada to be with me. She's currently trying to have a nap as I type away here

There is a lot of fakes out there,but if you take the time to chat to someone and even talk on the phone before meeting you can usually pick through the fakes. I have made great friends here and most of the people I have met were excatly what they said they were
