I've ridden in both DH Beavers and an Otter. Great, husky broad-shouldered flying trucks, both of them. But amphibians are just so graceful . . .

Landing and taking off with turbo props from water has always scared me. The two don't mix well at all. I'll stick with the old radial engined Goose or even a PBY Catalina. The latter being my most favorite plane.
