Does Anyone Else Know This Feeling?

I haven't written anything in quite some time. The last few days I actually started typing out a story that has been in my head for like 6 months. Usually when I start a story I spend so much time with the non sexual character development, overall mood, tone, and setting of the story that I get bogged down and never get to the good stuff let alone finish a scene.

With the help of a quiet day at the office and a Red Bull I did it.

This story idea was floating around in my head so long I actually just typed and typed and the ideas and words just flowed. I actually got to the point where I not only wrote but finished what I wanted to finish good stuff and all.
I can't beleive I can start to think about another scene and an eventual end to the story.

WOW! I feel so proud like I accomplished something.

I feel awesome.

Congratulations Sometimes it just flows...it happpened like that for me with my christmas story..it took me such a short amount of time to write because it just flowed

Yes, that is a wonderful feeling isn't it? My last story flowed like that, almost like it was telling itself and I was just capturing it. My current story is flowing pretty well too, as if I am watching the characters doing their thing and I am writing down what I see and feel. Congratulations - let us know when the story is up.

Absolutely. I have had some luck with this lately (and I pray that I keep whatever muse it is that has decided to grace me). I will get an idea and have to write it down before I forget it, and the story itself seems to flow easily.
