Does Anyone Else Do This?

I know it's irrational, but I hate to put my laptop directly on my actual lap.

For instance, I'm laying in bed right now and I have a pillow between me and it - because of course, those Ralph Lauren goose down pillows make excellent insulation - I've never seen a duck loose its feathers from radiation.

You know I understand completely about not putting a laptop directly on your *lap*. I personally do not want any unnecessary radiation near my lap.

From the title of this thread, I thought it was going to be about nose-picking or something equally gross.

I suppose I can answer the thread question though--I do not yet put a laptop on my lap. (Mine is still in some wizard's brain being thought up--you know--the really handy yet still fairly cheap laptop that doesn't weigh a ton.)

Actually, because of posture, you are not supposed to put 'laptops' on your lap. That's why they call em notebooks now.

I suggest a lapdesk. Pillow on the bottom, hard surface on the top. I love my lapdesk!!
