Hmm my verdict on Eleven.

He's rude..ruder than ten... well, no, rude isn't the right word... hmm flippant...

He's very flippant, to the point, eats like a pregnant woman, confrontational, judgmental, clumsy, has hair that needs to see a brush, wears clothes that remind me of Bill Nye, is against others growing up, and is a mad man with a box.

Overall, I like him.

More importantly, Matt Smith played him so that I saw him as the Doctor and not some young man running around having adventures in time and space.

Right now Doc doesn't know Donna knows those things.

Also. Donna is Doc. The metacrisis having transformed her on a level far more fundamental than a mere mind-meld. It's not just a memory dump, it's psionic and biological.

And it was a combination of both of those things to which Donna was allergic.

At least as far as I saw it.

(Anyway, we'll burn with that bridge when we come to it.)

Occasionally I'll get characters who'll show up in my dreams.

The version of Rose McCrimmon that showed up in "Supergirl: Identity," f'rinstance, actually had a surprisingly complex and bad-ass dream sequence in which she was defending some sort of naval base off of Antarctica.

My occasional dream-stints as a Green Lantern are stymied by the apparent fact of my dreamscape's low visual FX budget.

I used to be Spider-Woman fairly frequently. Jess Drew, not any of the other ones.

Xia from "A:LS" is a constant presence in my daydreams.

And Ten. Ten shows up often enough. (Nine, only once or twice, but lots of Ten.)

It seems that Var's dreams of me are detailed but, erm, sorry Var, not quite accurate. I love that Ten loves Rose Tyler and I would love to be BFFs with Rose Tyler but. Not precisely in love with her myself. (Not like I'm in love with Kyle Rayner or Gwen Stacy.) I would love to look like Allison Mack, and to sing like her, but I'm not blonde, I'm just sort of... brown. Darkish brown. My Ten impression is actually abysmal, Estuary accent is just terrible, though I'm told I'm good with the facial expressions. And, um. Not usually naked.

But, um. Not to. Diminish your enthusiasm for such things. I like that your dream version of myself is so interesting. Usually I'm just a Jerk-Ass in people's dreams, it's a fairly common occurrence.

Nice to know my good side is represented at least somewhat in Daniel's realm.

But.

Your writing rarely fails to fascinate and hugs and thanks are always nice and if I hadda be murdered, getting murdered for writing good seems to be the way to go with that.

I like that my words make pictures in your head. That's a pretty splendid compliment. And thank you.

I figured it might as well apply to T'Pol as well a bit

Never dreamnt of anyone from the net before. Though I rarely dream of people I know in the first place.

Not to worry.

(T'Pol is played by Jolene Blalock, and Var's told me before she's decided I look like A-Mack. Otherwise I might have made the same mistake.)

I've dreamed of people from The Net.

It's never ever ever ended well. With the exception of one, well, exceptional boundary-defying argument-surviving friendship, which is pretty awesome.

But that's kind of one-in-a-million, I highly doubt it's two.

Well, yes.

But you understand, of course, being the subject of the fantasy, it was difficult for me to know where to go with that.

I kind of figure it being like Ten walking in here, reading over my shoulder and going... "What? You had me do... what?"

Or, as a very smart man once referenced, it's like getting a giraffe for your birthday. "What."

As I frequently hold imaginary conversations with my characters(in which I can do no less than keep them true to form in their reactions).... they very much know this feeling.

I used to have such conversations quite frequently!

Mostly when I had to ask their advice on how to write them, they were pretty dubious as to the nature of the whole affair. I think the nicest one I've had to chat with like this is Colossus from The X-Men.

He's such a romantic.

There was an old episode of "Star Trek" where there was a bunch of dudes essentially killed over pet rocks.

Yeah, they were the eggs of a silicon-based lifeform, but how were they to know that?

I haven't seen "Secret Diary," but I imagine you're quite correct.

Also this one time she boinked this funny-looking guy with a chin even boxier than a Volvo and that's just awkward.

I haven't really seen it much either to tell the truth.. just a couple of episodes..which seemed.. well cute seems like wrong word.....and sweet is quite definitely the wrong word....it seems like a nice bit of saucy soap opera-esque to while away some time

...but I really do enjoy reading the blog that Secret Diary of a Call Girl was based off of every once in awhile.... though I doubt I'll ever read the book.
