do you

Faith.

thats what guides me. I can feel that there is a certain someone out there for me. It may take some time.... and alot of Mr. Wrongs and maybe even a few Miss Wrongs ;) before I find them...

but I know that when I do find him..... or in another case realize that I have found him....... that it will be well worth it

I do believe it for me, either a companion or a soulmate is out there. Faith is what drives me. Faith and constitution that that person is out there for me.

Yes, because if you give up the faith and hope that there is someone that's "the one" then what is the point in living??

I think the idea of a "one true love" or "soulmate" is silly. Out of 7 billion people spread out all over the globe, what would be the likelihood of running into that one person?

Having said that, I believe that this means that for most people, there are many many Mr. or Ms. Rights.

And maybe there are a few people out there who will never find anybody.

But if you're not a total jerk/psycho bitch, I believe that there is someone out there for you!

I believe there is someone out there for everyone, yes.

BUT, I don't belive that everyone will actually find that someone.

Two very different statements, if you think about it. I think you meant to ask something more along the lines of the second sentence. If that's true, then my answer is "no."

I would strongly disagree with that statement. Too many people try to center their existence around other people, or what they hope other people will give them. I have absolutely no desire to find "the one" or even "someone", my reasons to live lie with myself and my own self worth.

Willing!

Yes I do sweetie. *hugs willing*

I certainly think so. I believe ive found the girl for me already. i hope we will be together someday, but i can only cross my fingers.

I met her in the weirdest way you can imagine. and it just happened so oddly. and just by chance. but looking back at what we have been through and everything it shows me that anything is possible and everyone has someone soooo special out there for them. *hugs willing again*

i hope everything is ok with you hun. :)

That's the short answer ... the long answer I will keep locked away in my heart.

yes i do

i believe that there is someone out there for everyone.

i believe it is caused by fate/destiny, what ever you wish to call it.
i believe that things happen for a reason.

I would argue that the reason that not everyone finds someone is that not everyone has someone (or even several someones) out there. No other species matches up every member with another. For whatever reason, sometimes things just don't line up for some.

As pessimistic as that may sound, humans are remarkably different from the other animals. We compromise to fit with another that perhaps we shouldn't be with, or better yet, we realize that we don't need another person. For whatever reason.

When I was younger, I used to believe that there was that someone special for everyone. As I got older, I became very pessimistic and believed that the closest most people got to love is mutual respect and lust. I think people make too much out of having just one true love. Now I'm back to believing there may be someone special out there for everyone. I think my special someone is in Zimbabwe or somewhere just as remote and I'll never find him :).

this is why I said 'a' and not 'one'

I believe that there are several 'loves' out there for everyone. Everyone you ever knew in your past lives somehow finds you...... and you can meet a lot of people in alot of lives. ;)

Damn...no wonder I keep meeting up with assholes!!
:)

There are probably many people that you could form something really solid and true with. It just depends on who you meet when in each others lives and probably a thousand other little factors that no one will ever be able to entirely figure out.

I don't know if there is ONE answer to this because it depends so much on the person. Hell, I go back and forth on my own opinion of this depending on what's going on in my life.
