Sitting isn't an issue if you have the correct saddle
The first saddle I had ended up making my butt hurt like 15 miles into it. It took me about 6 months to find a saddle that works for me for 100+ miles.I usually wear a cycling kit. Unless I am going to work, then I wear whatever along with my cycling shoes, and my regular shoes in a bag.
I just bought the long sleeved version of this kit last week because of winter.
