Actually, no. In theory it sounds great, but it's cramped, all natural lubrication gets washed away pretty fast, and you get prune fingers. And it's damn slippery with soap.

Absolutely. I can't bear to sleep in a room with the curtains closed. But in the winter I rise before the sun. Haven't used an alarm clock in many years.
