Do you use Digsby?

I have friends on pretty much every instant messenger known to man and it's hard to manage them at times. I hear Digsby is a good IM aggregator, but I've not used it before. Have any of you? What's your impression of it? Got any tips or tricks or advice? I'm considering giving it a try.

I took a look at the site, and in theory, it sounds like a good idea; however, would you have to give them your login information for each messenger in order to sync them? If so, for security sake, change your passwords to something ambiguous and not the same as any other app that requires a password. Imagine what harm a crooked person in the company could do with your usernames and passwords for all those messengers/email accts/social networking apps.

Personally, I wouldn't use it, not only for security issues, but also because I only log into a messenger if I want to talk to the ppl who have me as a friend on it. It's all very compartmentalized, lol.

When I had time for that, I really liked trillian. Dunno if digsby is better, but look into your choices.

Ditto. I don't use IM on my computer now that I have a smart phone, but I was a beta tester for Trillian, and it was awesome.

Now that I'm looking at the website http://www.trillian.im, they have a droid app, so I guess I'll download it, and give it a shot again.
