Lets put it this way.....The last time I spoke to my ex wife was the day I kicked her ass out of the apartment.

To this day she pm's me on messanger....probably 1000 times since our divorce....Ive never responded.

I think I am about 50/50 on this one. I have a few exs that like to come back into my life when I least expect it. I try to remain friends, or at least keep it civil with at least half of them. lol

I don't know if I meant by friends that you rang them regular for a chat or went shopping with them..... more that if you ran into them in a bar you would say hi in a freindly manner and a small chat....

ah...that depends. can't think of a ratio more than a situation...like if i'm out on a date and i see an ex i tend to pretend to not even notice...as i expect the same with me so as to not complicate the person i'm with...things that ended well i tend to do a basic catch up and well wish.

It depends on the time scale

My ex wife of two years is still a very frosty relationship - probably on the scale of antartic on a cold day. We have too much shit and do not communicate well - though we have to keep in touch because of little ones. We live in the same town which I wouldnt recommend - my present partner is not too cool about situation. Maybe in a few years when the memory dims and time heals a bit we could maybe have a coffee and laugh a bit , but now its still heavy gunfire at sight

Apart from that I have met up with a few ex girlfriends - though can be dangerous as after a few drinks reminising can go too far - I have ended up having a few flings with girlfriends I havent seen in years.

You know what they say about sex with the ex !!
