OK... Big question for all you chefs out there...
DG, Jr. helped me plant some basil this evening (I make a kick-ass pesto). Can homemade pesto be frozen? We'll move before the basil dies out (hopefully!!!), and just in case the plants don't survive the move, I'd like to have some pesto prepped already.

I've never frozen pesto, so not sure. If you could vacuum seal it , it would survive perfectly.
