Gratifying? Online? Not so much. I always prefer real life sex, but sometimes "ya gotta do what ya gotta do". In real life, I love sexual role play!

Very good point. After 20 years and more one-night-stands than a fellow has a right to, I feel like a young'un. I prefer myself in my own role, though Champ insists on being the star (so I let him).

What RL roleplay I have done has been very light because I have been so busy just being clumsy me.

I roleplay, yes. It's a part of what i do sexually with my Dominant in almost every relationship i've had and has ranged from tremendously gratifying to silly to... well... kinda tedious. It generally lasts on the shorter side of average with respect to the length of time of any other session of lovemaking.

I don't do online sex (cuz i, personally, find it boring, repetitive, and ultimately frustrating) at all, so it's not any part of my online time at all.

If my distant lover is in Birmingham and I am in Houston, that is too far for a weekend drive. It is also very expensive for the weekend jaunts. I refuse to leave my state and he refuses to leave his (talking about moving now). So we stay as long distance lovers who get together 2 or 3 times a year and try to make the best of our short time together, which, is not spent in role play as much as vanilla lovemaking and SM play.
(I can't help but remember my weekend SouthWest airlines flight last year that had a 36 fucking hour delay. The planes aren't all they are cracked up to be.
