I suppose in some ways my dry spell is self-imposed, if only in that I choose not to invest as much time in getting laid as I used to. Obviously it would be nice if it just happened magically, and every so often it does, but it's a meager living and my dick and I are barely on speaking terms.

It is my goal to be back to my target weight of 125 by summer...figured if I was gonna be 40, the least I could do was get in shape for it.

I have similar goals for my upcoming 30th birthday. I'm 220 now, trying to get back to my happy weight of 190.

I jog in the morning, and alternate between weights and yoga in the afternoon.

I am in the gym 3 mornings a week...and alternate between Pilates, Tae-Bo and Zumba 3 evenings a week. (all evening classes ranging from 45 minutes to an hour and a bit)...Am healthy...and looking pretty okay for 39 and a half.

I think I might be approaching a point where I'm at peace with not having the nutty bananas sex life of my early and mid twenties. It was good for then. I want different things now. There are changes I need to make in myself that would be interrupted by the constant pursuit of sex.

Or maybe I'm just going about it a different way, lol.

All I'm really trying to say is that it doesn't feel like a crisis if I'm not getting laid all the time anymore, and I'm grateful for that.
