Do You Really Exist?

They do exist! No one person is ever perfect, but I do know some guys in real life who come pretty close. Not to knock the men of Lit......but it is incredibly hard to find here. I thought I had found it 6 years ago on here....and I believed I had it for 5 years. People eventually show there true colors. I considered giving it another go on here.....but again people show who they really are. OR, just vanish, or just create a new screen name so they don't have to deal.

Call me jaded, but at this point I'd almost settle for someone I get along with.....that doesn't lie, or turn and run when things get difficult. Or blame me for there issues. (Nuff said on that one!)

Red sox fans are notorious heartbreakers....or are they the breakee.....
I can't remember?

I think you mistake my meaning of 'One'.

In my mind the term is simply used for the person who left a mark like no other, for various reasons. It doesn't mean someone can't take their place, or that there is no better fit. It's just a matter of us all having that certain someone up to the current moment that has touched us differently...

who knows what the future holds. Which was essentially my message: you can't pine for that someone and use them as the standard by which you measure all others - what doomed thinking that is! Thankfully, all of us are created differently, and it would be an absolute shame to overlook an amazing person simply because he/she didn't fit the mould of the one that came before.

All that said though, it would be an insult to the heart to not recognize the impact certain people have on our lives, and to me, that is how in this moment, there CAN be a "One".

I have to agree we should not overlook an amazing person because they do not fit the molde of someone else.

I just had to add.....we also should not pick someone specifically because they have something your partner doesn't/ didn't. IE; last bf was messy, so I find this guy attractive because he is so neat. Last partner didn't like to drink, so I will date a partier. If you are with someone, don't seek someone else to fill a "void" you feel your partner causes. Learn to pick your battles, and be flexible. You won't ever find true happiness bouncing from relationship to relationship, trying to correct what you feel was wrong and placing blame elsewhere.

Just my 2 cents!

Heartbreakers! One good thing that came from that relationship.....I became a Red Sox fan. Too funny this came up. I have my Youkilis tee on today!

I am all too familiar with the vanishing and new screen name stories.

Unfortunately? Women are equally as guilty of doing it as well. I don't

understand the deception. I just refuse. Im the eternal optimist and

if I have to go around with rose colored glasses? So be it LOL.

Nothing wrong with thinking the best of people H. I try to be the same way, though occasionally my skeptical side gets in the way.

Awwwwww c'mon! You guys......... OK OK

*handing you a purple jelly bean*

You're welcome!
:D Thank YOU!!! What favor is purple? For that matter what flavor are most jelly beans.. outside of the Jelly Belly family

Gives it up.. but it's not edible anymore.. though perhaps maybe it never was.. wax and sugar, really?

The basic ingredients of jelly beans include sugars, corn syrup, and starch. Relatively minor amounts of the emulsifying agent lecithin, anti-foaming agents, an edible wax such as beeswax, salt, and confectioner's glaze are also included.

That was truly TMI, though kind of expected
